Jesse caught her gently, holding her bridal style. He chuckled softly, "Are you alright, sweet?" he smiled slyly. He moved her to her feet carefully, bit his arms still hooked around her. He had to crouch a little for each of their feet to touch the ground; but he didn't mind.

"Yeah I'm alright." She blushed at the caught. She looked down. Anyone could tell her face was bright red. She frowned a bit when he let her go. She got to be caught in his arms. She was going crazy over that. She smiled even more.
Jesse smiled sliding his hands along her waist as he took a step back."Tag!" Billie tugged on his belt loop then took off running. Jesse turned quickly with a big grin, "You little runt." he took off after her. He, Gale and Billie suddenly vanished behind the tall and neatly cut hedge of the garden.
She was upset that he left. She sighed. She shouldn't mess around with the employers family. No matter how much she likes him she should back away. Pushed her feelings away from him. All she will ever be to him is there maid. She was little upset.
Jesse chuckled softly, running after the kitties. A thought slipped through his mind making him stop and laugh.I can't wait till she sees my flaws.
He huffed softly and stumbled forward, falling on his stomach. Billie had tackled him happily, "Tag!"
He gave a soft smile, "It doesn't work like that, sweetheart."
He shifted over, sitting down, crisscross, and held Billie in his lap. He reached over and plucked a flower sticking it behind her ear.
What am I thinking? I'm perfect!
He shook his head ever so slightly at the thought.
If only she could see what I really am.
She smiled and sat on the grass. She was hopelessly in love with him. She didn't want to be. He was so perfect. He had the cutest blue eyes. She would looked into them and get lost into them. She smiled the thought of them. She was waiting to get a another moment like that. Just one moment like that.
Gale walked over to her with a nervous smile. Sitting down in front of her hesitantly, he leaned close and gently sat a crown of daisies on her head. He leaned back again, his cheeks blushing a faint pink, "You're very pretty." he said softly. She's so beautiful with the meadow behind her.
He stared at her dreamily.
Jesse stud up taking Billie's hand and led her to the meadow.
Danny suddenly felt something rub up against his ankles.
She was snapped out of the thoughts about Jesse. "Oh thank you." Oh he likes her. "Well your 12? I'm 18 that 6 years apart. I maybe a pretty girl but there will be a pretty girl out there just for you. I have someone else in mind." She said looking down at him.Danny notice the cat. "Are you always popping out of no where."
"Oh I know." Gale gave a slightly nod. "I've never seen Jesse get some girl is such a twist. It's a new record I think." He gave her a sweet smile, "I think he's noticed. You keep staring at him. It's kinda funny. But he's got his eye on another girl, and he's got Billie to cafe after." He gave a small shrug, "It's ok they. She's never going for him. So your chances are far from slim." He gave her a somewhat sad smile."Most people call this the garden actually." he purred looking up at Danny, rubbing his neck against his leg.
"I don't like Jesse what are you talking about." She felt her heart break. She didn't except this. She should of known something like this would happen. "I mean he's cute yes but he's not my type." Yeah he was her type. She told two lies. "It doesn't matter anyway. It's almost like all my boyfriends from books." She shrugged her shoulders not caring."Yeah I know what a garden is." He said to the cat.
Gale blinked, faintly confused, "You get your boyfriends from books?" He wasn't sure what she was talking about, and wondered if she could even tell that she's lying. He watched as her face grew hot red and she fidgeted a little."Alright. Then it's not no where now is it?" He continued rubbing on and against his legs tenderly.
"No it's just a saying." She felt her heart to continue to break. She was fine. "Characters in books are flawless most of the time. They become the perfect boyfriend you." She stopped. "It's saying that you pop in when people least except it." He muttered to the cat.
Gale blinked, "Hey, are you alright?" he asked thoughtfully, unsure why she stopped talking all the sudden. A smile pulled across his lips, "So what sort of books do you read?""Thing my deceive you, Danny." He purred and sat down, "Want me to show you the gallows.
She shrugged her shoulders. She wasn't going to talk now. She just shut him out. She was thinking how stupid she was falling for Jesse. She looked at Jesse playing tag with Billie. "No thank you." He wish he could put the cat in the gallow.
Gale frowned, standing up and walked back inside where he went back to his studies. A part of him felt bad for exploiting her like that. Then the other part of him felt enraged for feeding into the girl's stupid schoolgirl fantasy."Are you sure?" He purred charmingly.
She should leave that's best choice. She sat there holding back the tears. She looked at them. He's into another girl figures. That was her luck. She felt super bad if she hurt anybody. She didn't like talking. She caused people pain. "Yes I'm sure."
Stella stepped outside, "Lunch is ready!" she called.Bouncing to her feet, Billie bolted and rammed right into Stella's legs.
Jesse walked up to Lillian while her head was down and held out a hand to her, "I like your crown." he smiled softly.
Gregg whipped up his tail, "Very well then."
She grabbed his hand. "Thank you." She smiled. She guessed she couldn't just stopped talking to him. She stood up from the grass. She stumbled some. "I'm sorry." She said falling into him.He rolled his eyes.
He smiled and pulled at a strand of her hair, twirling it around his finger. In a way she reminded him of his older sister. She was gone now, but they both radiated the same sort of beauty.
He lost the thought quickly when other, more personal thoughts crowded his mind.
Billie ran over, taking Danny's hand and pulled him along behind her.
She smiled at him, she felt her face turned a bright red. She was falling for him. She got lost in his blue eyes. She didn't want to stopped looking in his eyes. Her stomach growling. She was smiling a lot. Maybe she had a chance at him.Danny smiled at the little girls motivation. She was a cute little girl.
Jesse chuckled softly, "I think your gut is trying to tell you something. Come, lunch is ready." He slipped his hands down her sides then off her waist and turned to the mansion. Stuffing his hands back in his pockets, he lead her to the others in the kitchen.
She shivered at his touch. "Yeah I think so too." She smiled. She smelt the food. "It smells good." She was very hungry. She was still red in the face. She looked around the place it was beautiful.
Jesse walked over and leaned over the stove, taking a peek at what Stella had in store. The kitties sat on the table, with Gale eating and apple and Billie attempting to eat an apple. Gregg pounced up on the counter and sat, watching them all very very carefully.
"This smells really good mam." She looked at Stella and smiled. It smelt so good. This was really good looking food. She looked back up to Jesse. It was bad for her to look at him like that. She was happy. Every time she looked at him she wanted him more. Is that possible she thought.
Jesse turned handing her a bowl off food. He chuckled softly, "Stop gocking and eat. You look famine." He and Stella served everyone else and sat down, or leaning against the counter to eat. Billie perked up suddenly, "When I'm finished may I attend my studies?" She asked joyously.
"Thank you." She blushed and sat down. She was slowly eating her food. She smiled more and more. She couldn't help it in front of him. Danny saw the way she looked at him. He will have to a brother talked with him.
Stella looked at Billie with faint concern, "There's something wrong with yea' children. Yea' aren't actually telling me yea' actually want to go work on yea'r studies are yea'?"Billie nodded, "Oh yes! They're very very interesting!" she exclaimed.
Jesse continued eating listening to his little sister and Stella's exchange. He was totally oblivious to Lillian's swelling obsession.
She couldn't help but stare. She curse herself for staring. She smiled and looked down at the table. She was happy though. She couldn't help his look in his blue eyes. She was falling for him.He seem not to notice his sister. He will have a talk to him.
Jesse leaned against the country eating, none of this occurring to his one track mind. Stella shook her head with a sigh, "Yes, go on." She waves her hand dismissively at Billie.
The little girl jumped up, leaving her dishes on the counter and bounced out of the kitchen.
She smiled. "This is very good." She said shyly. She smiled at Stella. Trying to avoid eye contact with Jesse. He seemed not to know that she was there or even existed. She sighed stirring with her food. She was thinking about Jesse.
Stella gave Lillian a pleasant smile, "Why thank you, dear." She sat her dishes down on the counter behind her and moved over to the door."Well, I must be off." She said, taking her cost of the cost track beside the door.
"Where are you going?" Gale asked curiously.
"Just into town." Stella smiled faintly putting on her cost and fixed her eyes on Jesse, "Make sure they don't burn the estate down, will you?"
Jesse gave a polite nod then glanced into the other room as Stella headed out.
She smiled at Jesse. She nodded her head understanding to make sure the estate doesn't burn down. Danny got up. "Can I talk to you Jesse?" He asked this was his chance to confront him to make sure he doesn't hurt her. Lillian got and went to find the little ones. "Um you know my sister likes you right?"
"Yes," Jesse replied, "It's going to be hard prying this one off. She doesn't get out much, does she?" He said plainly once all the others were out of the kitchen. He knew well and good from her rosy cheeks and batting eyes lashed that she fancied him almost overwhelmingly.
"All I ask you to do is you let her down gently because she still is very sensitive and if you hurt her. I will do what any big brother would do." He looked at him."I hope you understand that." Lillian found the little kids studying."So Billy what are you studying?"
Jesse blinked then have a fine chuckle, "Let her down? Goodness, it's only been a day. I only plan to let it wither over time. And if she's still in this school-girl state, then I'll get her to bug off the best I can." He turned and offered Danny a cup of tea. He gave his head a lite shake, "I may ask you to play a bigger part in leading her off. Honestly, I'm not very good about going around these sort of things." Billie looked up, and turned a bright red. She clutched a bunch of story books and a silver flute. "Em, nothing."
"She doesn't get out much know. She likes you lot and I will doubt she will stop. So I'm saying. I will try to her away from you." He whispered. "You might want to let her down." He looked up. "I don't want her to be hurt. "
Jesse gave him a sort of annoyed look. "See now, she's not my responsibility. It's not my fault if she gets hurt because she's making me juggle stones in her glass house. I'm not going to do anything besides ignore her, if she can't handle me breaking her heart or something." He set his cup down and gave Danny a pat on the back, "You better get to work, butler. I'll be in my chambers." He walked out promptly.
"Fine I will." Lillian came down from seeing Billie. She heard the conversation. She walked to her room and locked the door. She let the tears come down. She was stupid. She was stupid. She thought maybe she had a chance. His words were on repeat. She got up and wiped the tears away from her face. She had work to do. She made sure she didn't look like she was crying. She started to sweep the chambers.
Jesse went to his chambers where he sat and did his work in solitude.once Gale was done with his chores outside, he came in and held Lillian by studying behind her.
Gregg promptly trotted along behind Danny as he spotted papers and went through Valentine's office. "What was that all about?"
She quickly finish with sweeping. "If you need anything I will be in my chambers." She walked away putting the supplies away. She frowned. She was going to pretend that he didn't exist. She went in her room and change into some pjs. She found a book that she packed. She read in so many times already. She finally knew how it felt to feel to have their heart be broken. "What is what?" He turned to face the cat.
Gregg sat liking up at Danny, "Your sister just went up to her chambers with a look of heart break." Jesse felt awful disgruntled thinking Lillian may have heard what he said. It's not as though he was lying, or being unreasonable. And in a way he thought that she deserves it. It was completely unreasonable for her to fall in love in one day, then be great broken when he knew barely nothing about her.
"She'll get over it." He said to Gregg. He sorted the papers through and stack them in neat piles. He didn't like that Jesse anyways. "She can always find someone better."She started to read the book. She stopped. She wasn't in love with him. She just liked him a lot. Love is something that forms over time and she knew that. She knew she never had a chance at him. She sighed and continue to read her book.
Gregg poured faintly, hoping up on the desk and sat, "I'm sure they'll fall for each other again at some point. More will be revealed, and I'm sure Lillian will make up her mind." His tail swooshed back and forth with ease, giving a small laugh, "You're a growing man. where's your lassie?"
"I don't have one. I have to take care of my little sister." He paused. "You and I both know she wouldn't make it in the real world. "
Gregg chuckled softly, "Yeah, but we won't hold that against here. Look at us, I nor the others were meant for the real world. Stella and Valentine are dominate species, they could take over the world of they wished. Both are calm and collected, keeping on their own turfs. Gale is much to sweet to understand any sort of violence that goes on outside of the estate. Jesse can't take one step outside without being swaddled with woman. Billie- we don't know where she's headed yet." He chuckled.
"Yeah true." He nodded his head. "She's been through a lot. I just want her to find someone who will be nice to her." He said shrugging his shoulders. He walked out. "Are you coming?" He asked looking back at the car before he shut the door.
Gregg gave a small meow then hopped off the desk and rushed over to Danny's side. "I'm sure you'll both find someone of your liking. Lillian is awful pretty anyway, giving her a good selection. let me tell you, Jesse doesn't care about looks." He snickered.
"I don't want someone to care about her looks. I just want someone to care about her and understand her. I won't be here to do things for her."
