I'd love if you both could give a review to my opening chapter. Thanks Cara & Paul Inman for your review of my opening!

p.s. although you didn't post the link here, I'm going to take your comment in this thread as incentive to go and review your opening chapter. In fact, here, I'll request it for you:
Here is R. Heinz' opening chapters -- go and give it a review folks. It's great stuff!

Thanks for the review, and I hope you liked mine :D.

One thought (though this is just a thought), I think it would be good etiquette if you request a review here that you also review the books of others who have posted in this thread. I don't want to make this a standard for the thread, because forcing reviews sometimes is a bad thing, but I know for myself I do try to check everything out. When I review, I focus less on nitpicking (because that stuff gets dealt with in editing) and more on the overall impression the story gives me. It's a great form of social proof for our readers, especially if they can see a review came from another author (plus, you get a link to your page on whatever book your review -- so it's a great way for us to interlink with one another).
I'd love a review too and would be happy to review back!
Note - Of the three chapters posted, only two are of the "first three" chapters, the other is most likely chapter 5 or 6.

p.s. - I'll take a look at the books listed in this thread so far and will write at least one review over the weekend.

Dave, there are still so many great authors to get in here, but last I checked we're at 86 -- and I just invited Andrew J. Ainsworth, author of These Old Bones in, so that's 87. Dave, you make a good point and I think it's something for all of us to take on board: please hunt for as many Inkshares authors you can think of and extend the invite here. There are great things happening in this group, and I'm sure there are many authors with projects who don't know about this group just because we haven't connected with them yet. So let's keep it up!

Please review the first 2 chapters of Enhanced and recommend it if you feel it's worthy. I encourage you to read our short "About" section, too. I know I always read them when I visit other author's pages. :)

Question: What do you each feel is the advantage or disadvantage of continuing to add chapters to your page?

I've received some positive feedback now on my writing for the prologue, but I'm looking for thoughts on the chapters beyond that, in regards especially to the larger ideas at play in the narrative, the characters, and so on. Thanks !

I'm reading your project page right now and loving it.

No problem! You'll just have to give me a little time to work on that. I can go through and start adding some comments in as I reread. I'll try going back through at least the prologue tonight and then work from there.

Happy to take a look, Byron! I know what you mean about backlog. But I'm working my way through all the open tabs,

Hi. I'm an author too. I just added my novel to Goodreads. I just published my first novel and I desperately need reviews. I would be so grateful if anybody reads my novel and writes a review. This is the link:https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...
Reviews are important social proofs for our projects, especially when they come from other authors or noteworthy reviewers. I know personally when I go to an Inkshares project page and see the review column full of positive reviews I am immediately encouraged.
I thought it would be a great idea if in this thread anyone looking for a review could put the link to their chapter page. On the very bottom of the computer screen, there is a "leave a review" option for you to share your thoughts.
If we can add this support to one another I think it would be great.
