Renea (goodreadscomsunflower263) | 18 comments I read a book (thought it was a Sandra Brown book) about twin sisters. One is very responsible as she is always bailing the other one out. One day, she has an interview or appointment with a very handsome client and tells her sister who, happens to either know about the man or has seen his picture. Some how, she ends up telling her sister (the one with the appointment), there was a call and the meeting was postponed, but she goes to the meeting herself. He's attracted and they eventually get married. Later on, the married sister tells her responsible sister, she's in trouble and has to go away for a while. Asks her to pose as her, without telling her the husband wants a divorce. The good sister agrees and is over her head. Besides everything else, she has problems dressing in her clothes as they are provocative and can't walk in her shoes. At the end, the sister is being chased by the law who apprehends her at the airport. She tries to pass herself off as her sister and ultimately escapes from the police by using the bathroom and crawling through the ceiling. After several years, the good sister and her sister's husband fell in love and marry. They receive a gift from the other sister which lets them know she's still alive.

Renea (goodreadscomsunflower263) | 18 comments Hi David, thank-you for the info unfortunately, this isn't the book. The husband is rich and once they made love, the husband knows she isn't his wife. The chauffeur or grounds man is also suspicious. Know the story, just can't remember the name.

Moving to Unsolved since you're looking for a specific book.

Also you will want to add plot details to your header since genre only is quite vague.

Renea (goodreadscomsunflower263) | 18 comments Hi Ruzza, No this isn't the book, but thank-you. I believe the man's name was Trevor. I looked at all of Sandra Brown's books and it may not have been written by her after all.

Ingo (ilembcke) | 669 comments Although this has been already solved, this reminds me of Deceptions/A tangled web (filmed as a TV-Movie with Stephanie Powers).
Another romance with Twins switching places - and I must say, while it has been some time ago I read those, I think, some plot points where the same... (reading through a few of the bad reviews of Double Take, maybe rather not, should read these again).
Deceptions by Judith Michael
Deceptions
and
A Tangled Web by Judith Michael
A Tangled Web

From my memory, I would still recommend these two, although I looked for the ebooks, and while the first one is a bit high, the second book is even as an ebook so high, you might consider buying both used - it will certainly be cheaper. As I have both somewhere in the deep of my library (probably third or fourth row), I will not buy the ebooks unless the price changes. Would have been an easy sell to me, if they where priced better.
