I had a lot of 4 star books during this challenge, but only a handful of 5 stars. Probably three of these books would have never fallen under my radar if it weren't for this challenge. As You Wish: Inconceivable Tales from the Making of The Princess Bride
The Martian
The Weight of Glory
Be the Message: Taking Your Faith Beyond Words to a Life of Action
Row for Freedom: Crossing an Ocean in Search of Hope
I had 7 new five stars books this season:The Ocean at the End of the Lane
Under the Dome
Book of a Thousand Days
Snow Flower and the Secret Fan
The Glass Castle
Angels & Demons
The Angel's Game
I don't assign many five-star books, but I did have a couple this challenge: 1066 and All That: A Memorable History of England and The Rebirths of Tao. Quite a few four-stars though.
Christine wrote: "I gave 5 stars to Persuasion. LOVED this book!"LOL, I read it for the spring challenge and gave it one star, found it totally boring!
I had another awesome season and ended up reading 17 5 star books (I'm so easy :P)The Wright Brothers by David McCullough - I had a surprise 4 star read which I never expected! I've never been able to listen to audiobooks, I just can't focus and end up not having a clue what's going on. I tried a non-fiction audiobook for the first time this season and... it was so much fun. I'm excited to try out another this fall. I have Pirate Hunters: Treasure, Obsession, and the Search for a Legendary Pirate Ship on hold.
Heaven Can't Wait by Pamela Clare - I also discovered and loved the first book in the series this summer but this novella was a stand out especially since I'm not a huge fan of novellas. <3
Binding the Shadows & Banishing the Dark by Jenn Bennett - Favorite completed urban fantasy series! Loved every single book.
Feed by Mira Grant - This book blew me away! I have no interest in politics but I thought it was such an interesting way to do a zombie apocalypse story.
My favorite rereads:The Wind Through the Keyhole
Wolves of the Calla
Good Omens
