I absolutely am, though most people don't believe it if they've only met me at conferences. They seem to have a hard time believing I am more at ease in small groups than large gatherings. Or that I could happily go weeks at a time without leaving the house.
Maybe it's common among readers at heart? In books, I get to be with all kinds of people, but there is no drama impacting my day. You know?

It's so much easier after I've gotten to know people, but at the end of a people filled day I still find that I'm exhausted. Glad I had fun, but exhausted.

LOL, I think because I can handle large groups people think I'm high end extrovert. And I'll admit I have my moments, but the personality tests say introvert. If nothing else, it gives me a reason to not always be smiling, because the hard core extroverts are the people everyone expects to always be smiling and happy.
