Lea Ann's 12+2 ChallengeOkay, I left four books plus two alternates unread at the end of the 2014, so these books (all from my actual bookshelf) are going on my list for 2015:
1. A Tale of Two Cities
2.
3. Pilate's Wife
4. The House of Mirth
5.
6. A Voyage to Virginia in 1609: Two Narratives: Strachey's "True Reportory" & Jourdain's Discovery of the Bermudas

I started this on another group but found that this was the only thing I was participating in within that group -stretched myself too thin, I think - so I'm transferring this list here, and cutting myself free from the other group.

Angela wrote: "3 books down :)"Good job! I just finished one myself. I really need to get to work on this.
Thanks, Angela. I can't take credit for it. I copied it from another group. I liked the idea of committing to particular books.
finished The Complete Tales and Poems of Winnie-the-PoohI can't believe I never read them when I was youngerWho doesn't love Pooh bear and Piglet. Although Eeyore was always my favorite.
i tried reading Day of the Deadand I just can't get into it so I am going to skip it. Good thing I have 2 alternate books.
I liked how this book was written, it felt more like having a conversation with Mrs Gardner than just reading about her life. It did bog down in places when she described every movie and everyone in it but when she was focused on her personal life and her marriages it was really interesting.
