Dai stood handing out fliers for a party with a bright smile
River stood in the commons, looking around. She didn't have anything to do at the moment, so she was bored. The cat inside of her seemed to be asleep.
"Glad you came" Boreas said walking in and going right to her.
She looked up, and seeing Boreas, she smiled. It was a little strange to be actually meeting someone, as she had never had friends to meet with before. But it was strange in a good way."Hi," she said.
"Hi" he said in return in both the cherry tone and smile as he tipped his hat to her.
She laughed a little when he tipped his hat to her again. He was so cheerful and polite that she couldn't help liking him, even though she knew so little about him."So, how have you been since our last meeting in the woods?" she asked.
"Fine though Sis had some issues, all better though" he said with a nonchalant shrug as he was the carefree guy again.
"Oh," she said, not wanting to pry. It wasn't any of her business.
((comment again when I get home on about 7hoirs))Boreas smiled, "Shall we go.do.something enjoyable?" he asked cheerfully.
((Okay))River smiled again. "Definitely!" she said, and stood up from the bench she had been sitting on.
((Sorry I hate closing at work :())"God your smile is stunning" he said with a grin just because she did as the sun glinted off her fiery hair and her pale white skin with her perfect smile. A warm feeling roe in him even being made of ice.
((Totally fine))Surprised, River glanced up at him and gave a tentative smile. No one had ever complemented her like that before. She felt herself blush slightly, and said quietly, "Thank you."
((Stupid slackers made it harder >_<))"Your very welcome you really are a vision" he said making sure she understood he meant the compliment for real.
((Ahhh. I totally understand!))Now she couldn't help but laugh. She could tell he was being sincere, and he was so nice. A warm feeling seemed to spread through her when she realized this. "I think you may be the nicest person I have ever met." she said.
"I have reasons to be especially around you River, so what should we do?" he asked not sure about that but anything was fine with her involved.
"I don't know." she said, "This is all kind of new to me." She thought for a moment, then asked, "What sort of things can ice elementals do?"
"WEll anything not involving high heat and we are good, so never had anyone take you to the mall or like do some fair stuff with you?" he asked a bit curious he was the first to be interested in her.
"No, not really." she said. "I have done a little stuff like that, but I tend to avoid doing things that would make my emotions spike because...well...emotions are what set off my shift, and I don't have a whole lot of control over it yet."
"What shift like into your cat form?" he asked with a head tilt as he wanted to learn about her.
She nodded slowly. "If it gets really out of control, I turn completely into a cat. A big one. But if it's not too bad, I just get claws and fangs and fur." she gave him another smile. It felt good to actually talk about it.
"Well I can help as I...." he paused and took a deep breath as he turned into a frost form 9 foot tall. He groaned and the ice fell away and he stood with a smile. "have full control" he finished with a slight smirk.
River stepped back, surprised. Then, when he smiled at her, she reached out and touched his arm to see if it was cold. "Wow!" she said. "I've never seen anything like that before! That was really cool!"
He waved as a stage performer would with a deep bow "Thank you thank you!" he said. His mile grew as she touched him and she would feel he was just under a normal guys temperature since she made him warm inside it reflected outside.
River laughed. He was just so funny. Then she realized she was still touching his arm, which was only a little cooler than a normal person's might feel, and drew away, blushing.((I've got to go. Catch you later?))
((Yes well night then))Boreas laughed with her as he was enjoying the time with her and liked her soft hand where it was until she removed it. "So been to the steam room?" he asked with a smile at her.
((I'm back))"No," she said, and smiled back at him. She was having fun talking to him.
((I see))"Well want to go with me?" he asked realizing it sounded like an impromptu date question. He did like her that a date wasn't far off.
"Oh!" she said, "That sounds fun. Sure!" She felt the warmth spread through her again. It almost sounded like he was asking her on a date, but she pushed the thought away, even though it made her feel incredibly happy for some reason.
