Hi, I'm Diane. This is the first official group that I've decided to join through GoodReads, because I gravitate to horror when I read or check out movies and TV. I will probably pop in and out on occasion. Thanks for having me!
Hello, I'm Rai; I have been reading a lot more horror this year than previously and still feel myself gravitating towards titles in the genre so I thought I'd join in to get some insights, recommendations and maybe the odd sleepless night.
Welcome Rai! My picks for best of 2018 is: Kill Creek, The Broken Girls, and Cabin at the end of the world.
Hello, Rai. I'm new too. I don't know if it counts, because it's non fiction, but my current read is Stiff by Mary Roach. It kind of adds a realistic perspective to what can and can't be expected from dead bodies. I'm liking it a lot so far.

I recently read Head Fulls of Ghosts by Tremblay so I will check out "Cabin..." too. The Broken Girls is only 99p for Kindle (UK, at least) so might grab that too and put Kill Creek on the birthday list :)
Diane - 'Stiff' does sound intriguing; it might be a tad more my other half's thing so I'll keep an eye out for it and thanks for the recommendation!
And thanks to everyone else for the welcomes! :)
maybe but i need fresh blood because animals blood gets cold to quick it has to be human because i do drink human blood
Hello, members! My name is Angel and I am excited to have just joined the HA group. I have been a horror fan since I was a child and snuck reading The Amityville Horror behind my parents' back! I enjoy the new horror authors (Darcy Coates, Ron Ripley, Joe Hill) and I am hoping to get more ideas on authors I enjoy. I'm glad this group is here!
Hi folks, just joined goodreads today and I am really digging the site. A great place to catalog what I have read and what I own and also to find out about new horror to read. My favorite horror authors are Edgar Allan Poe and H.P. Lovecraft. This group seems like it will be right up my alley.
I've been a member for a while but have never introduced myself. First of all I've enjoyed being a part of the group. My biggest horror addiction would be zombies. Been hooked since watching the original Dawn of the Dead back in the 80"s. My favorite authors would be Joshua Guess and Glynn James along with Michael Fuchs.
