I looked at his profile. Why anyone, let alone jobless people, would email that d-bag is beyond me. Oh, and guess he never heard of account settings where you can turn emails off.
We try hard not to bombard our members with emails. The only ones we do send are related to group read/listen suggestions and polls and our author participation announcement emails. If any member is not interested in those, email preferences can be changed under "settings."
Well then, I'm sure he/she will find the perfect group elsewhere. One that is so exciting its members don't talk because they're too busy taking action!

We need more action around here!

I prefer to take my action with good Scotch. I also prefer stoics who have read Marcus Aurelius and Seneca. But don't go by me.
hmmm... I was gonna say he's ugly and his mother dresses him funny but I think ya'll have this well covered. ;)
And welcome to HA to the rest of you! We have a lot of fun around here. Hope it feels like home but even better.

Loving the responses lol. Personally not particularly broken up about that loss. Also confused about what action we're supposed to be participating in.
One of the things I love about this group is how active it is! There's always something going on, be it our guest authors and group reads, or the fun games. (Being that Chimney's groups include some with no activity since June or longer, perhaps he/she was overwhelmed with great content?)

That MUST be it. The guest author reads are something you don't see in a lot of groups....

Thanks, Graeme.

Hi! My name is Kirsten. I live in eastern Washington State with my senior Australian Shepherd mix. I love to read horror, especially the more supernatural/weird type. I'm not that fond of horror film.
Welcome to HA, Kirsten! I have an Aussie mix too, and supernatural horror is my first choice. :)
Hi, I'm Vickie. I live on the East Coast with my family and three Miniature Aussies. I love reading anything horror, especially zombie apocalypse. I enjoy watching horror movies as well, but the Halloween franchise is the cause of my nightmares. Seriously...can't tell you how many times I've woken up in a sweat, heart pounding because Michael Myers was chasing me! :-)
Hello everyone,My name is Emily and I'm so excited to join this group. I love horror and I'm always looking for new authors and books.

Hi, I'm Chris. My father died when I was eleven, and he left behind a coffin-shaped bookcase containing his favorite horror novels. I read them at night, stowing them under my bed during the day. I read CUJO in two days, and then read PET SEMATARY with my hands clenching the book and sweat wetting my armpits.
I've been hooked ever since.
I write horror as well. I've self-published a few books, and I'm continuing on the journey toward traditional-publishing avenues.
I've enjoyed Goodreads for chronicling my reading, but I'd also like to connect with fellow readers and discover more cool books to read. Thanks.
