Hey! I've been a horror fan my entire life. I've mostly stuck to psychological and paranormal movies, but now I'm slowly dipping my toes into splatterpunk baybee!!!!! please recommend any books you can! queer characters, books on the shorter side (400 pages or less), and body horror make me behave like a rabid chimpanzee rn.

Hello, Horror Aficionados, I have just joined the group and only very recently joined Goodreads as a new author. My interest in horror spans many decades, the beard in my profile picture gives that away! Supernatural and psychological horror are my favourite sub-genres as well as all things weird, desolate, dystopian and post-apocalyptic. I read as much non-fiction as fiction these days, mostly on societal and political breakdown and upheaval. These are the kinds of underlying themes that weave through my writing.
