Jason--second warning. Do NOT spam this thread with promoting your own works/other issues. There is a section for author/publisher promotions that you may use for that purpose.

Hi, I'm Terri and I grew up in the 70s and 80s reading lots of Horror books, among other genres. I remember the librarian scolding me for checking out such "trash" and did my mother know? Yep, I read hers when she was finished.

Hi everyone, My name is Sadie and I'm a huge fan of horror media. I started to read books in the genre starting in 2022 and I'm always looking for new things to add to my "to read". My most recent 5-star was The Troop by Nick Cutter. If you have any good recommendations please let me know!!
Hey all,I'm C.J. I write mostly horror-thriller (1 book out, 1 on the way). I've been bad about getting involved with the community, so I'm here to start fixing that! Already finding some good recommendations and good takes in our "lovely" little genre.
Hello 👋 my name is Kelly and I just recently joined this group because I’ve been wanting to get some good horror book recommendations. I do like horror but I do get scared easily lol I have watched horror movies and tv shows. I’m excited to be in this group 😁
Hello all :) I’m Kate, new to Goodreads so bear with me, as I’m still trying to figure this out lol.
I have been reading a lot more lately to get a feel for different writing styles, as I am currently writing a novel. I love thrillers/horror, anything that should scare the sh*t out of me. The gorier the better!
I look forward to many suggestions and/or conversations on your favorites!

Hi, I'm Maz. I'm an avid reader of all types of horror and an aspiring author myself. Hoping to have lots of fun discussions and maybe a few book recs - I'm looking to be scared silly! 😁
@Maz: Welcome and awesome! You came to a wonderful group, lots of amazing recommendations and new authors for sure, enjoy :-)
Hello!I'm Refe and I am new to the group. I write books for kids, including a series of books for middle schoolers that plays off Mary Shelley's FRANKENSTEIN and some of the classic monsters her work would later inspire. FRANCES AND THE MONSTER came out last year, and the sequel, FRANCES AND THE WEREWOLVES OF THE BLACK FOREST his shelves August 22, both published by HarperCollins.
I'm always looking for new reads, so I'm excited to dig into some of the recommendations and discussions around here.
