Introduce Yourself!
Mollie wrote: "Hi there! I'm Mollie and I love all things spook. I am excited to hear your favorite reads and to dive deeper into horror. :)"Hi Mollie, my favorite genre is Zombie fiction, but I read pretty much anything and I try and review all the books I read.
J.S. wrote: "Hi everyone! Apparently, I've had a goodreads account since 2013 and I never made use of it. It is awesome to find this group and get so many recommendations. I am never going to run out of good ho..."Welcome Jenny! Yeah, this group is one of the main reasons my TBR wish list is over 1000 books long!
@J.S.: Welcome and wow, look at that! This group is amazing and that's pretty cool you're in France. I've always wanted to visit one of these days as I'm in the beautiful city of New York :-)
@Mollie: Welcome, my friend! LoL you came to the right place and I'm not sure if I told you yet but you have the best Goodreads avatar by far :-P
@Heather: Welcome and very awesome as this community rocks! I used to do the same on Reddit but now I focus on Goodreads and Facebook. I sent a friend request and look forward to future book discussions with you :-)
@Will: Welcome and yeah, I remember growing up, I was trying to find the right genres and read all different types. LoL once I found horror (thanks to IT by Stephen King) I found my home. I don't do audiobooks but have many friends that do and love it :-)I found a ton of great new novels and authors thanks to this group so I hope that also happens with you as well!
Hello, I am a new horror writer and I have just completed my debut novel. I just found this group and I'm excited to become a part of it. I look forward to meeting lots of new friends, and having a place that can educate me about all the great new works being published. Thanks
Hi. My name's Robert. I've been a GR member a while but I'm not particularly chatty ;-)I do listen a lot though, and enjoy hearing people's opinions.
I'm a horror/SciFi/dark fantasy fan. My first book was recently published by Severed Press, and I'm working on a second.
Hello everyone, I'm pretty new to this community and have only recently unraveled my love of reading. So far my favourite genre are Thrillers but I'm also heading towards fantasy and horror too. I'm reading anything I can get my hands on to expand my library and develop my range of genres. I'm a huge horror fan when it comes to films so I'm excited to see how horror books will affect me! I look forward to making new bookish friends!
Sabine wrote: "Hi fellow horror afficionados! My name is Sabine and I am very excited to join you all in this group :) I have been looking for a long time for a book club that meets up in my area but to no avail...."Welcome to HA, Sabine! Every month there are a couple group reads voted on by the group. There are also group reads with Authors. You might want to check out the buddy read section of this group.
@Foxy: Welcome and very awesome! I also love thrillers/suspense, mystery, and of course, horror. I just sent you a friend request :-)
Hi all, My name is Alan and I'm a big fan of James Herbert, he my fave horror writer, but I'm also a huge fan of true ghost story's as well.

Hi Sophie the ghosts of sleath by James Herbert is my fave ghost story, its a follow on from another book by Herbert called haunted, which is also very good.
@Alan: Welcome and I've never heard of James Herbert so now I definitely have to check him out to see! We have virtual iced lattes and banana nut muffins to enjoy the weekend even more :-)
Alan wrote: "Hi all, My name is Alan and I'm a big fan of James Herbert, he my fave horror writer, but I'm also a huge fan of true ghost story's as well."I like Herbert too! Though I still have many of his books hanging around here to read. Welcome to HA, Alan!

@Alan: WHOA!!! Thank you so much for this, I've made note of all of these and wow, I love the covers and everything. I appreciate you so much for this :-D
Always happy to enlighten the unindoctrinated about one of the first three authors who opened up my love of horror.
Hello everyone, I’m new. Kinda nervous to make my first post lol. Stephen King has been my gateway into horror books. I can’t wait to find new authors!
@Bria: Welcome and no worries at all! Stephen King is my all-time favorite author and it was R.L. Stine with the legendary GOOSEBUMPS that I remember reading as a kid that planted an early seed in me until King's IT made me into a Constant Reader 20+ years strong now :-DI found so many new authors from this amazing group, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
Hi Bria! Welcome to HA! No need to be nervous, we're a friendly group, in spite of our love for all things dark and bloody! ;)
