Hello, my name is James and I am new to this group. I am an indie author and reader of fast-paced, plot-driven suspense and horror that engages readers. Welcome, James! That's so awesome and much respect for being an author. Tons of recommendations here but for me so far, my last 5-Star was “Seven Cleopatra Hill” by Justin Holley :-)

Good evening horror folk,I write ghost stories and dark fantasy with a generous dollop of horror. I can't help myself, I grew up in the golden age of VHS rubber monster splatterhouse whilst reading classic gothic horror to calm down!
Hoping by this group to get pointed towards what's currently great in horror writing.

Hello there!My name is Calvin and I'm a pretty big horror fan (mostly movies, but I'm looking to change that). I have read some good horror novels, but not nearly as many as I'd like. Usher's Passing was really good, and I'm now waiting on another Robby Mac book to arrive at my doorstep. I am excited to see what books exist in the world of horror, and can't wait for some good discussion and fellowship with y'all! Thanks for accepting me with welcoming arms!

Hi everyone-it is a pleasure to be in this group. My name is Evan Clouse and I am a first-time author who is trying to navigate these waters. I just got on Goodreads (and Facebook as Hanging Chads Book) and am feeling much like Bambi learning to walk. I would welcome any advice, friends or "followers" (I have no idea why anyone would "follow" me anywhere. I really wouldn't advise it) and am looking forward to participating in this. Thank you again. If interested, the name of my book is "Hanging Chads" and it is a Horror/Romantic Comedy with an empowered female serial killer as the protagonist. So if you like profanity, blood, gore, emotional rollercoasters, humor and strong character development, it might be the read for you. Thanks everyone!

I forgot to introduce myself, haha. As soon as I joined the group, I picked up one of the group read titles. My name is Mia and I love all things horror! Within the past few years, I have mostly indulged in horror film as well as video games, however I have recently reignited my once very strong love for reading and have thus been reading horror as well. I would love to make new friends and discuss similar interests. Happy to be here!
