Introduce Yourself!
Hello, my name is Joe and I am from Florida (USA). I have always read Stephen King but looking to branch out into more horror. Looking to have discussions and make friends here. PS I love Horror movies and videogames too lol

Hello and welcome, Joe! We love Stephen King too, but we do our best to also introduce everyone to some lesser known names in horror as well. We're glad you're here!
Welcome, Joe! I have been impressed at the great horror that is out there from lesser known (at least to me) authors. A great thing are anthologies where you get introduced to great authors. One of my favorite recent reads was Midnight From Beyond the Stars
@Joe: Welcome! You came to the right place, I found so many new authors here it's amazing! Also a huge gamer as well, what kind of games do you enjoy? :-)
welcome Joe!༻ I have finished a few new horror books since I joined and have realized there is life after Stephen King. I have read most of his books too and really liked most of them. You should try 'The Keepers' its kind of written in Kings style. love havin'ya'
Hi,I am Boucle and I am from France. I love reading, and I recently discovered the horror genre by reading the Blackwater saga by Michael McDowell. I am looking forward to discovering more !
hey fellow readers, my name is Sydni, I'm 22 and I love to read just about anything. My favorite tropes/things to read: horror, Enemies to love, VERY dark romance, big boss man who everyone is scared of who matches with the complete opposite personality, supernatural, Smut, mystery, thrilling, psychological. I love talking about the books I've read with other people especially if they have a different opinion then me (good way to discuss the book and view it from a different perspective) I also love all things nature, anime and just having a great time overall. Anyways, feel free to add so we can start talking books☺️

Hi I’m Charlie, I like fantasy and horror mainly. Big bonus if the two are mixed (horror with whimsical/fantastical elements or fantasy with dark grueling and gritty elements)Look forward to hearing about what you guys are all reading!
Welcome Charlie!
Seeing what everyone is reading is a big part of the fun!
And it adds lots of books to the TBR.

@Charlie: Welcome and awesome, great combo there with fantasy and horror! I mostly do horror and mystery :-)

Welcome to HA, Charlie! I love that combination myself. Off the top of my head, T. Kingfisher has some great ones that would fit the bill. (I give bonus points for snarky sarcasm). ;)
