@Chad: Welcome and wow, much respect to another horror writer in our group! LoL that's the dream, eh? So scared one would never dare to close their eyes to bring that into their nightmares...
Hi everyone. I just realized that horror is my favorite genre. They are the books i rwad through the fastest, which means i like them. Horror books to me are NOT just for Halloween but for year round.
@Badger: Welcome and BEST. GENRE. EVER. LoL I also completely agree, horror is meant to be enjoyed all year long, not just in October :-)
Howdy everyone. I'm Dezeri. Horror has been my favorite genre in both books, TV, and movies since I was a kid. I'm trying to get back into reading after having not done so for 5 years.
Hi horrorheads! Author Patrick C Greene here. Looking to meet enthusiastic readers and learn what moves you. I'm into horror movies as such as books, along with metal, horror punk and orchestral horror movie/game OSTs. Happy horrors to everyone!
@Dezeri: Welcome and very awesome! That was me back in the summer of 2021 after about a decade or so without reading, it's now my favorite hobby, even more so than video games :-)
Hi Sophie. I have decent catalogue out, about everything from slashers to ghosts to cryptids. :) Give a look if you like. Are you a fan of Clive Barker?
You might also track down some movie novelizations. I find they add an extra dimension to your impressions of the film.
Hello there! I'm a self published author and essayist. My primary goal is to self-promote. What's the appropriate way for me to do that here?

We have an author promotion section here for that.

Hello everyone,I'm Eddie J. Morales. I write horror fiction stories. You name it. The paranormal, zombies, supernatural, slasher, psychological fears, vampires, and much more.
Hi everyone, my name is Cindy and I am a lifelong fan of horror. My first Stephen King book was Tommyknockers and I read it when I was nine in the fourth grade. My mom had a bunch of Stephen King and Dean Koontz novels, so I tore through those during my childhood and teen years. I love horror movies and scary podcasts too. But mostly, it’s about the books. Recently I discovered Ronald Malfi and have been working my way through some of his books, enjoying myself! Glad to be here!
Greetings and salutations friendo Cindy. Ronald Malfi is one of my fave authors. Have yet to read a book of his that wasn't great.
Welcome Cindy. Ronald Malfi is an amazing author and an even better person. You can’t go wrong with any of his work.
@Cindy: Welcome and so awesome! I've yet to read Tommyknockers but heard it was amazing! LoL for me, it was IT by King and well, that did it for me, been hooked since I was a teenager many moons ago. I also love Dean Koontz, looking forward to discussing future novels with you :-)Also, Malfi is a great writer, I loved Come With Me!
Hello everyone, my name is Ed. I am trying to locate a book of short stories with one being about a young woman who spends the summer at a lake. She meets a man whom she begins to suspect is a vampire. As the story ends it turns out he is actually a werewolf. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Greetings and salutations friendo Ed. This thread is for general introductions. You should probably post your question in a new thread in this section:

and if no one around hear recognizes it, you can try the Goodreads group: What's the Name of That Book, as that's all they do is track down books.: https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/...

Hey, I've been here a little while but figured I'd introduce myself. I'm from the Southeast of England. Only really started reading when the pandemic hit but now I'd rather sit and read rather than watch TV and all that malarkey. BTW Stephen King is the King!!
