Hello, I'm Marceline. I've been a member/lurker for a while now and felt it was time to actually introduce myself properly.

I've always been a fan of horror, and my tastes tend to lean heavily into the cosmic horror and psychological horror, though I do love me a good jumpscare and gore once in a while. This goes for both literature and movies. Jobwise, I work in the real life horror that is retail. My hobbies outside of reading (which I should set more time aside for) include gaming, fishing, watching documentaries, cooking, and the occasional game of bowling.

I'm semi-active on GoodReads (my interest in reading comes and goes so when I'm not reading something I tend to not really log into GR) and I'm always interested in adding new friends so I can see what others are reading-- I've found it a good way to go outside my preferred subgenre of horror once in a while or even into the non-horror genres.
