Quite like this meet and greet idea, its like the start of an AA meeting, so hi Bambi! and welcome on board.
If your babysitter owned a graveyard, have you ever considered spending an evening reading in it, the moon above, the ungrateful dead below and you serving as the gateway between.

I have not previously, but probably will now.
Hi there!I´m from Germany and I joined Goodreads in 2020...of course I didn´t start reading in 2020 but that was the year in which I really got into - mainly Horror - books and found out how many great stories I miss if I only watch movies ;-) I already discovered many older gems (my favourites of last year being The Elementals and Naomi´s Room) as well as fresh authors like Stephen Graham Jones or Grady Hendrix through all those fantastic Booktube-channels and I hope to get in touch with other Horror fans in this group.
Regarding Horror movies I can definitly bring a much wider knowledge to the party, from acclaimed classics to the deepest trash ;-) My favourites are Suspiria, Don´t Look Now, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Halloween...I know: not really hidden gems at all! I also have a great love for Italian genre cinema and one fave away from all the Argentos, Bavas and Fulcis is and always will be the ultimate creepfest The House with Laughing Windows.
Ok, I will stop now and just say: Nice to be here!
Hello everyone. Glad to 'meet' you all. I'm a fan of classic horror in all its many forms, with a predilection for Shelley, Lovecraft and Stephen King. Any recommendations for great horror books that have strong character development will be most welcome!

Hi, my name is JP Bailey, I'm 53 and huge fan of M R James stories. Some of his best stories are set in and around Norfolk which is where I live. I have just had my own Gothic horror story published - The Small Shoe Society- Book 1. Working on book 2 now.

Thanks Char. Lovely to be welcomed.
Hello! My name is Vider Leprav and I am a dark fiction/horror writer.
I have been writing for a few years and have just published my first short story collection and am currently working on the next one.
My tastes in fiction lean heavily towards the more disturbing and darker shades and look forward to finding some good recommendations here.
Hello, new here and to goodreads in general. I've had an account for a wile but up to this point I have only used this site to read reviews and check out recommendations. I'm a life long horror hound and love horror in all it's many forms. Books, films, TV, podcast, and comics are all up my alley. Looking forward to discovering new authors and finding new friends to follow.
Welcome all and any, hopefully, you leave richer in experience than you entered with.
Hi there. I'm Eric from Seattle. I'm a big fan of cosmic horror and anything with a downer ending. However, my favorite horror movie is Monster Squad, so I suppose I enjoy a happy ending thrown in for variety.
Hi Eric, welcome to the group :)
