Welcome : D Also welcome to Svetlana, Yolanda and Vicky, sorry, I only check in occaisonally ;>>
By the way, if you're interested in some suggestions, I'm always willing to share some : D
Hi Hana, welcome to the group :)
Hello, everybody! I joined last year, but because of a lot of technical issues, I have been unable to introduce myself until now.I am a horror lover. A horror fanatic. I love a lot of different types of horror. Werewolves and zombies and ghosts and monsters. I’m just a big fanatic.
My name is Zain, and I have to tell you, I did not enjoy horror stories and movies until I was twelve. Before then I was a big chicken, and always covered my eyes if I was forced to watch something scary.
Now that I am a horror lover, a horror fanatic, I have to read something scary everyday. I don’t watch horror movies like l used to-the book is usually better-but l try to catch one now and then.
So I joined this group to meet some like minded people, and to have a great excuse to read horror everyday. Who am I kidding? I don’t need any excuse. I’m reading something horrific everyday, regardless.
Hi, I'm not sure how this works but I love me some of that good old horror.Just finished the exorcist and mountain man 4. Both would really recommend.
Looking for some space, sci fi horror new stories like Alien if anyone has any ideas?
Also, I'm a Xenomorph nut so I've read most of the Alien and Predator books.
Hope to talk more about.....things.
Hi Callum, welcome to the group :)
Alan wrote: "hi Callum, have you read Concreat Jungle, its a pritty good Predator book"I have, I enjoyed it (think it was meant to be the original idea for predator 2). In the first Predator books, I probably like Predator: South China Sea the most.
But thank you for recommending it.

Well, this is a very friendly group. Thanks, can't wait to talk some more about horror.
Thanks Callum, I didn't know that about P2, Though I will admit I did like P2 the film, i might try out the one you recommend, so Thankyou

It's a Predator vs Alien war and really fantastic, written by Tim Lebbon (the Silence).
If you want a standalone Alien book Get Alien: River of Pain

It's the story of Newt and planet LV-426 and what happened between alien and aliens.
thanks Callum, they sound reallly cool, i have read a few Alien books and comics, and the truth is they are often better then the later films, really keeping to the core of what made the orginal films fab

Fully agree. I'm a big fan of the genre (hence why I asked for recommendations) but very happy to suggest any anyone would like to read.
If anyone should read anything Alien I can't recommend the Alien illustrated story even. Art and story are perfect.

Hi, New to group. Really like books about vampires. Currently reading The Bloody Chamber, a classic collection of short stories by Angela Carter. Still have lots to explore.
