A good start would be an older book called “Hell House” by Richard Matheson. A scary ghost story classic

Thank you so much. I’ll stick with desk top. You guys are great

Hi all. My name is E.B. Lunsford, and I'm a horror writer and avid reader. I published my first novel two months ago, and I'm about halfway done with the next. I'm always on the lookout for my next read. I read multiple genres, but my favorite is extreme horror and splatterpunk.

I love both extreme horror and splatterpunk. Is your novel available on Amazon?

Hello everyone! I am new to this group and already it is a "everyday check in" for me when I am online. I just finished Kin - my first group read - and I really enjoyed the roller coaster ride of emotions. I am glad to be here!
Hi, I'm Jamie. I'm a big fan of horror films and books and I'm always on the lookout for recommendations for either. This group seems right up my alley and I'm looking forward to talking horror with all of you. :)

Hi folks!
My name is Julia and I'm a huge fan of everything horror: movies, comic books, video games, art, etc. However, I haven't read that much horror and I'm always looking for new recommendations. Plus, I haven't joined a book club before and would love to be a part of book discussions. I'm particularly interested in folk, ghost, and monster horror but I'll read pretty much anything.

Welcome Julia! We have plenty of discussions going on here. Let us know if you need any help navigating the group!
Hi, I'm Lacy Snow (from rally reviews) and I am new to the group. I have tried to join in on the books for about three months but, I can never get the books in time. I do not buy tons of books because of limited space and i hate reading on a screen so i figure i will join in if at some point i can get a book for it. I will i could know a month ahead of time to try to get the book for it. thanks.
Greetings and salutations friendo Lacy.
If you want to chime in on group reads and buddy reads, even if you're a little late to the party you can still add comments to the thread. Not everyone starts right at the beginning of the read.

Welcome Lacey. Yeah, i don't always start on the very first day of the month either. it's no biggie of your late.
Welcome Lacy and Amy!
(I still haven't started this month's one group read, myself... I usually have some I squeeze in during the last week.) We try to set the nominations up mid-month for the following, and polls shortly after. Hopefully this allows more time for people to get copies from libraries, etc.
