Hey Kimberly! I'm very much into the atmospheric/existential horror...I loved Annihilation, but wasn't super fond of the rest of the series. Although to be honest, I'm not opposed to gore as well. Sometimes a good body horror is just what a girl needs.

I love them all, too! The Elementals, Sweetheart, Sweetheart, and Wylding Hall are some of my favorites for "atmosphere", but all books need a little gore... ;)

My name is Peter and I am a new psychological horror writer. I am an avid horror movie fan, and while I've only read a handful of books (Mostly Stephen King) of the same genre, I am always on the lookout for interesting and unique stories that freak me out.

Hi everyone...my name is Sam and I've been a lurker on HA for a long time now. I'm not a writer, just a devoted fan of horror fiction of a supernatural or cosmic bent. Some of my very favorite authors are Adam Nevill, Simon Kurt Unsworth, and John Langan, but the list of writers who really push my horror buttons is, of course, long and broad. I always look forward to folks' contributions and recommendations here at HA and hope it's around for a long time. Cheers!
