Welcome, Olivia! I love gothic horror!
Hi guys and ghouls, I'm Mikki from Australia, and I just recently got back into reading consistently again after a looooong break. Before I use to only read fantasy and something just hit me recently that I should be reading horror! I love horrors and thrillers and anything that gets your heart racing and goes bump in the night, and I feel like a dog with it's tail between it's legs for how long I've neglected this genre. I have most definitely been missing out!!!
My bookshelf has had nice dark upgrade with a few new novels to keep me going for a few a little while and I'm always going to be on the hunt for the next scary thrill!
Nice to meet you all!
Greetings from Oregon!I, too, love the smell and feel of a book in my hands instead of reading an e-book. I prefer reading about monsters wrecking havoc in communities PLUS super scary and intense haunted house tales.
I'm a die-hard fan of anything paranormal, alien, and werewolfish.
Hi Guys. I've just put a book out there which is a horror/thriller type and I love all things horror, so I thought I'd join up, if that's ok.

Sorry about that. I fixed it. I’ve been huffing paint al morning. I have one more window then I’m done for a while. I think. Maybe.
I'm Aiden Merchant, an author and book reviewer (Goodreads, Amazon, Instagram, and my official website). I write horror, suspense, crime, fantasy, and more. Most recently, a lot of horror has been written in this HQ. I've never joined a GR group before, so this is brand new to me!
Hello! My name is Alice and I have always felt a pull towards horror, no idea why! Recently been trying to find more new authors and expand the type of horror books I read. Looking forward to seeing everyones recommendations.
Hi, Alice. The most interesting new horror book I've read recently is The Last Days of Jack Sparks by Jason Arnopp. It was addictive, surprising, and really different.

My goodness, we have a lot of new members! Hello and welcome to everyone! We're happy to have you here.

Hi Mike! Welcome to the group. When you say folk horror, the first book I think of is Harvest Home. I I’m not sure if Wylding Hall fits that category but it’s soooooo good. If you can do audiobooks, I highly recommend that one.
Asa Swift, I've written two horror novels and four short horror stories, one of which is published in the horror anthology Under The Hallow Veil available on Amazon or just go to asaswift.com and click on the link buttons for each of three books. You can find two of my short horror stories on wattpad Counterfeit Image and Dead Air, which was written for a contest at the last minute. I've been a LEO for 35 years and looking forward to retirement, doing more writing, fishing, shooting and spending time with my grandkids. I like a good cigar, a cup of decaf, and appropriate music while I write. Currently my WIP is in another genre and so will be written under my real name. Asa Swift only writes horror.
Hi everyone, I’m even new to Goodreads! Looking for recommendations on horror titles, more excited about participating in group reads and to discuss the results with you all.
