I'm Charles Craig, and I tend toward the Lovecraftian horror (I've read most of his stuff) and also what I guess you'd call action/horror, where people fight unspeakable evils and maybe they win, maybe they don't, but if they don't win, things go very badly. If they do win, things go less badly! But it's exciting in either case. I'd classify some works like "Day of the Triffids" and "Sinister Barrier" (a sort of precursor to "They Live" as action horror.I guess the most eerie thing about me is that I married a woman who went to Dragoncon as a tribble. I didn't know about that until years later when I saw her picture of her in the costume in "Newsweek" and I recognized her by her legs, which were the only visible part of her in the photo (she has nice legs).
I used to be an editor, now I'm a writer. I also enjoy going to coffee shops, which I'm ... not doing, thanks to the current plague. I hope to buy an electric bike when I can put the money together. Cars are so yesteryear.
