Horror Aficionados discussion
Introduce Yourself!
Hello!! My name's Riley and I'm new to the group!! I'm a HUGE fan of horror movies, so I thought this would be the best group for me!! I'm a HUGE fan of ANYTHING creepy and I specifically LOVE creepypastas!! I absolutely LOVE horror movies!! I'm currently working on getting into a Forensic Science job. I LOVE when horror movies and murder mystery movies come together as one!! I hope I enjoy my stay!!
Hi All,I'm wondering what book could be considered the earliest published book on the group's bookshelf. I would select Frankenstein, a powerful story that has affected my life more than any other story. Comments are welcome.

Hi Everyone!I"m relatively new to the groups on GoodReads. Horror is one of my fave genres so I'm stoked to find myself amongst so many others who love it too! I am hoping to read more in the new year, and am always up for suggestions :)
Hello all,I have a strong interest in pulp and weird fiction among other types of works. I don't get to read enough of it but I do like talking about it. I tend to write more than I read. I also have a podcast devoted to sf/fantasy/horror and so on and a bunch of my interviews have been about horror so some of the people here might like some of that. I've noticed that there is a lot more study of Latin American horror lately too which is interesting to see.
Hi! I joined awhile back looking for recommendations but I havent been
Hey guys,I'm Natalia Rose Wolfman, but you can call me Nat. I'm a teen horror author who loves anything scary: movies, books, music, you name it. My favorite monster is a werewolf and I joined this to find some likeminded people who are as addicted to horror as I am.
Welcome Amy & Natalie. Amy, we have some of the best group reads! I hope you find one that's to your liking. Natalie, your in the right spot!
Hi! I'm a multi decade horror book vet. I'm back-filling old horror novels, while reading the occasional newbie. I'm usually 5 years behind the horror curve. I'll participate in Grady Hendrix- Horrorstor January discussion group. I like to be terrified. I want to feel dread. For twenty years, I've been compiling a list of the most terrifying vampire novels EVER! Once I read the remaining 30 vampire novels in my pile, I'll rank the top 60~. I also like coming-of-age horror.
I'm introducing myself, finally.I joined in June, 2018. I've participated in a few monthly group reads. I am most interested in horror novels (modern and classics), occasional mystery/thriller/suspense novels, and non-fiction military history. I am a Christian. During business hours I am a government lawyer and the rest of the time I am a dad and spend time wrestling, chasing, scaring, or otherwise entertaining my two beautiful daughters. I like books, card and board games, the occasional video game, photography, the outdoors, movies, strawberry milkshakes, and hockey. I like autumn and prefer cold weather. I like having the lights off. I live in Central Iowa with my wife, kids, and two dogs.
Please, welcome me.

Hi, everyone! My name's Cássia and I'm from Brazil. I like all kind of material with horror thematic. In literature, I know more classics, but I enjoy stuff like Stephen King books and I read a lot of thriller's.
Hey, everyone!I'm Aniket from India. I'm in my early-20's and I just graduated in Electrical and Electronics engineering.
I read books from a lot of different genres and as long as I find the subject or plot of the books interesting, I hardly care about the genre.
Having said that, my favourite genres are Mystery, Crime, and Thriller. I also read a lot of Manga.
I'm very new to Horror and I've read only a couple of horror books but I've been trying to get into it. However, I absolutely LOVE horror movies and podcasts so I think I'll fit right in.
I look forward to getting to know you all and chatting about books or anything else.
