Oye, where are you everyone? I have something to share, but the idea will be successful only if you guys wanna participate!

So I was thinking that may be we can start a thread where a person will post two books. The person may choose one of those books and read it. Then he will post a link to the review of the book he read or the rating *if not the complete review * and post the next two books... And it will go on.Like. :

And so on.
So??
If the Person 2 hasnt read. the above two books...then what? =-O
That's the only problem. That's why I said that it will be successful only if people participate properly.

i was thinking...may be who want to read a particular pair of books can read that pair back to back and discuss on some thread.
Ahh... Okay. So let's do it like a big buddy read. That everyone participating reads the books back to back and discuss it later. How's that?

Okay, so which challenge do you guys want in December???Dare challenge or Buddy read or the one Phani is suggesting?
I don't mind either. I just felt that people may be interested reading books in pair(may be giving different point of views, or similar genres or complement to each other.)
But I don't think this can be read as BR we do. Maybe the BR pair can choose a pair of books and read them.
Dare challenge also seems ok, since the only difference is the no. of people involved.
Also, you guys can also make a note(thread) about the similar pairings of books among the ones you read, which you think may go well together.
Okay then lets start by making a thread to list the pair of books and once we have at least 10 pairs of books, we can add it as a pair.Can you make a thread? *disappears* :P
Till then, let's try Dare challenge for December. :)

Please do the honors creating the Thread and suggesting the first pair of books based on your experience...*bows and moves aside*
Also, I think we should make this as a note rather than a thread which grows to hundreds of comments over time, and may discourage a newcomer to go through the thread because of its sheer size...Then people can see this list and may refer it sometime later. We may even create different kinds of lists like these...because there are many lists like 100 best reads, books to read in your lifetime, 100 books of 20th century. But I never saw any official kind of lists of this type.
After some time, these lists may grow up into to something special to our group.
Ohh, I meant once we have at least 10 pairs, we can add it as a CHALLENGE. not PAIR. Sorry :P

Let us list out all the colors and tell them to read a book whose cover is of that particular color.
They should read it for all the colors

I really like this idea - but it would be cool if users had the choice of the book based on colour of the cover :)
