How to combine editions with different editors?

The Little Book of Cooking for One has two editions on GR:

According to Worldcat both have the same series no.: CLB 4264. According to Amazon the Stewart/Cranshaw edition was published Feb. 1995, the Bacon one March 1995.

I have a 1995 Dutch edition that names Jillian Stewart and Kate Cranshaw as the editors. Josephine Bacon is not mentioned. My cover, however, is the same as the Bacon one (but with a Dutch title, obvs.). My copy says original copyright date is 1994, CLB Publishing. (The Stewart/Cranshaw cover is the same, according to this bookseller site: https://www.antikvarium.hu/konyv/jill...)

I'd like to combine both editions and add mine to it, but how? Should Stewart and Cranshaw be added as primary and secundary authors to the Bacon edition, as their edition seems to be older?

ETA The Dutch National Library gives first credit of the Dutch edition to the translator/editor: http://opc4.kb.nl/DB=1/LNG=NE/SID=32a...

It seems odd if all editions have the same cover, but should they all be kept as separate books?

When this happens with travel guides which often have different editors a series is used to link them together.

We should not add editors if the did not edit the edition

I always wonder how people manage to combine editions with different primary authors, or would they just have added new editions to an existing one?

yes! they are a bane, people add authors, combine, then re order the authors, some I think have some how had authors updated via imports but years ago, the travel guides are a mess
