Nikita, I stayed up WAY too late last finishing The Iron Duke and it was SO worth it! 5 star read for me. LOVE this series now. LOVE this author now. Thanks for picking it, but I'll be honest, after reading the prequel novella at the end of March, I was gonna read it anyway, but thanks for making it "count" ;)

Grace thank you for your pick of Body Magic for me. It's a solid ★★★★ read. Exactly what I was expecting from the series and I enjoyed it bunches. Here's my full review if you want to read. :D
I've finished
and really liked it. Thanks everybody who recommended it! It was the most popular among the pickers!
I finished dead to the world tonight! It was really great once again :) can't wait to get the next one!
@ Tina, finished
gave it 4 stars and a short reviewhttps://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Diane~Firefly~ Just finished
and really enjoyed it. I loved how Santa and his sons were depicted. Thanks for the pick!
Kay - I finished Dark Witch last night. I really enjoyed it - yesterday it's very similar to some of the other trilogies that she's written but I love the concept so I liked it.

I nearly had to claw my eyes out by the end of the first book...
Grace wrote: "Diane~Firefly~ Just finished

first update!10. Skandia - Vain - Fisher Amelie - 4/3
A nice surprise! I love the redemption of the MC and watching her transformation from Paris Hilton to Humanitarian of the Year. Unbelievable, right? Basing each book on the seven deadly sins is a great premise. I have reservations about starting the 2nd as the reviews have stated the MC from that one does a complete 180. hmmm. Thanks for the rec, Skandia (and Angi who also picked it for me)!
14. Vi - Heart of Obsidian - Nalini Singh - 4/5
Okay... this was a 3 star read for me... I know, I know! I'm in the minority here. I guess I was never a fan of the Psy part of this entire series. The changelings are just more connectable to me, their stories more relatable. With the exception of Judd - I have to yet to smuggle hug any of the other Psy's who have decamped. I should really, really love Kaleb's story, but I guess it never hit me with the warm fuzzies. ah well. Thanks for the push, Vi! (Gianna & Aarati, also!)
Ty wrote: "loved loved the Iron Seas series, but I just could NOT take her other series,"Good to know! I get a little overzealous when I fall in love with a new-to-me author so thanks for the heads up!
Leslie, I finished The Handmaid's Tale last night and I am still digesting this one. I am SO completely disturbed and intrigued at the same time. As I was reading, I kept thinking to myself "this is on the 12th grade reading list?" and thinking how I would have reacted at 17/18 to be reading this. Are my feelings of horror and fear because I am an adult and a mother and would I have reacted differently to this book as a young adult? This is DEFINITELY one that will haunt me forever, (which is a good thing) so thanks for the push to read it!

Yeah, I haven't seen anything past book 2, and I'm ready to read about more of Santa's hunky sons.

Her blog says Book #3 will be out Christmas 2014. Yeah - I like this series :D
MountainKat wrote: "I just finished my second pick Friday I'm in Love. I loved that books so much!! Thank you ~Leslie~ for the push to read it - I am soooo glad I did!!"So glad you liked it! I've only read through Tuesday or Wednesday - and it was awhile ago. I need to start reading them again!
Melissa I finished
and loved it. Mercy and Adam's relationship is steadily developing and the storyline was really good! Can't wait to chat with you about it once you've read it.
Shelby ~ I just finished
. When I first started reading it, I wasn't so sure about it. All I could think was that Lachlain was a psycho kidnapper, but I stuck with it and am really glad. I ended up really enjoying it. Thanks for the push to finally start it!

I really love the diversity of paranormal, for lack of a better word in my tired brain, creatures that permeate the series. And I just love all the Valkyrie. They're so much fun!

Maybe later this month - I'm back in Anna and Charles world - savoring since it's the last one
Fran - I totally picked The Last Girl for you and then put it on my TBR and then read it..... I'm just gonna go ahead and unpick it for you. Yeah....
Ty.....no good?I saw you were reading it and I was thinking of picking it up....but I will wait to hear what you thought of it first, lol.
it was only a hundred something pages and took 3 days for me to get through.... guess the vamp genre is just tired and done.

Good to know. Thanks!
Hey Nan! I finished up Taking Shots today. It started out great! I would say I was really enjoying the first half...4 stars probably. Unfortunately, it just went on and on and on and Elli's hang ups were getting so annoying by the end of the book I was ready to slap her. Also, I always hate when authors throw in the big misunderstanding for the sake of conflict. When all was said and done, I ended up rating this 2 stars. Thank you for moving it off the to-read pile! :)
Mandy I'm going to post this to both threads since you so lovingly picked this book for me for both GB and M&G. :D Thank you thank you! I really love this series and I can't wait to read the next book. 4.5 stars overall with my review here if you're interested. :D
Debbie - I finished The Mane Event last night. It was actually 2 stories in the book. The first was pretty good I was interested and enjoyed it but I found the 2nd hard work to finish. Overall I gave it 3 stars.

Hi Diane~Firefly Finished
today and it was great, of course! I'm not sure Jill Shalvis can write a book I don't love.
Hi Skandia - thanks for picking River Road I finished it last night and I have to say that I'm relieved that JAK has written a book not about the Arcane society - I was getting a bit fed up with that so it was a really good read.
Hi MountainKat! I finished up Simply Irresistible today and really enjoyed it. It reminds me a bit of Nora Roberts Three Sisters Island trilogy. I'm definitely looking forward to the next book! 4 stars.

I finished my third and fourth books this week! Thanks beppy for picking The Unknown Ajax by Georgette Heyer - I read it for the FAC and enjoyed it. And thanks Diane ~Firefly~, I finished Midnight in Death by J.D. Robb yesterday and even though it was short, it still was what I would expect from an In Death story!I am currently reading two more picks - Taking Chase by Lauren Dane and The King by J.R. Ward!
Hadley wrote: "Nan I just finished

I thought book 2 of Life lessons was wayyyyy better than book 1

I like this series. It's not as good as Lucky Harbor but that's okay. It's still fun and filled with all good things that Jill Shalvis puts in her books!

I loved the whole Life Lessons series. They go through some shit, but they end up in a place that they, Mac especially, never expected. I was so sad when I finished the last book and knew there wouldn't be any more!

I most definitely am...I can't wait to see what happens with Mac and Tony.
Shelby! I finished up The Darkest Night just a minute ago. I really enjoyed it and am very much looking forward to the next book. I thought I knew for sure which one would be next...I was wrong! These books go in a crazy order. 4 stars.
Gigi I just finished
...wow not sure how I feel about it, but I know I want to read the next book to see what happens. It was disturbing, although not as dark as I expected. Thank you for giving me the push I needed.
