Read grave sight today...took me a little bit to get into it because I initially didn't like it as much as sookie, but I did really enjoy it and will continue with the series :)

gave it 3 starsreview https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Thanks for the pick, I've had this book for a long time.
Right - I have been appalling at my updates (holidays 'n stuff ;), so here is where I am at!1. Texas Rough - not a stand out but thanks for the push Sandy.
2. Sixty Five Hours - what a great fun book, esp since it was free :) Thanks Fran!
3. The Backup Boyfriend - loved the writing style of this author; humour, depth of charater, diversity. A refreshing voice! Thanks Aarati :)
4. The Marriage Bargain - not bad, but not great. Very harlequin, as I anticipated :) Thanks Joanne.
5. Alaska, With Love - a bit of repetition in character thoughts etc, but I still enjoyed it. I'll definitely continue the series. Thanks Gianna.
6. The Hell You Say - I love this series, but I loathe Jake! Essentially, I love Josh Lanyon's writing :) Thanks Becky!
7. From This Moment On - I can see why ppl enjoy books by this author, but they aren't for me :) Thanks for the push Emma.
8. Unlocked - huh! What a mean hero in his younger days! The author certainly had to work to retrieve his character :) Thanks Vi.
9. Hairy Harry's Car Seat - the dog was my fav character, but not a bad way to spend a couple of hours ;) Thanks KarenH
10. The Nonesuch - I love Heyer's characterisation, so I enjoyed revisiting this old fav. Thanks Karla :)
11. Obsidian - my first venture into this series, and I didn't particularly like either MC :( But reading others' reviews, I wasn't alone. Thanks Skandia
I just finished beyond the highland mist and omg!!! I loved it!!!! I cannot wait for the next!!!! I now have a new favorite author!!!!!! :D
Just finished something about you and enjoyed it :) lookin forward to the next one! (I feel like I say tht about every book I read! Haha)
~Melissa~ I have just finished
!! Thank you for the pick. I don't ever remember being so affected by a book before now. I can't put my feelings into words. What a diabolical man! Can't wait to carry on with this story...go Claire!
I'm slooowwly making my way through my really-want-TBR-pile with the help of this challenge. ;-) In this round, I finally got to these really great reads:5 stars:
Animal Attraction by Jill Shalvis ~ Thanks, Gianna!
The Lacuna by Barbara Kingsolver ~ Thanks, Sandy!
4.5 stars:
Dime Store Magic by Kelley Armstrong ~ Thanks, Jane(PS)!
4 stars:
Always On My Mind by Jill Shalvis ~ Thanks, Debbie!
The MacKade Brothers: Devin and Shane by Nora Roberts ~ Thanks, Jojo!
I managed to fit in a 6th pick....thank you Karla- I read Surf, Sea And A Sexy Stranger (Modern Heat) and I enjoyed it :) That one was on my tbr for a long time...so thanks for the push!
I guess it's been a while since I updated! I've finished three more of my picks, leaving me only one and I'm over half done with that one! Woohoo!!I read Upon a Winter's Night by Pamela Clare and loved it - thanks Grace! I listened to Melissa's pick, Ill Wind by Rachel Caine. I really liked the premise and once it got started I like that one too! And just now I finished Katie's pick - Living Promises by Amy Lane. That series is so sweet and so good! Thanks everyone!
~Melissa~, I should finish Stars & Stripes this weekend! =)
MountainKat wrote: "I listened to Melissa's pick, Ill Wind by Rachel Caine."That was a slow start for me, too. LOTS of background on the characters in huge chunks at a time and lots of world building. I'm thinking that each book probably gets better and better. It is a unique concept!
I finished two more picks this week. I read Timebound and ended up giving it 3 stars. This was one of those books that I was happy and engrossed when reading it, but once I put it down, I didn't have the urge to pick it up again. Thanks for the push to read it, Christina!
I just blew through Pam's pick for me, Dead End Dating and gave it 3 stars. At the time I purchased this book (several years ago) this was right up my alley, but I think I'm over the fashionista-vamp-solves-a-crime-while-trying-to-resist-the-bad-boy book. Of course I own the next three books in the series, and seeing as this was a quick read, I'm sure I'll read them. At the very least, I've read a book that has literally been sitting on my bookshelf for 6 or 7 years!

LOVED this book, can't wait to read the rest of the series. Thank you for the pick!!! 5*s"Nadine!!! I'm so happy you enjoyed it!!
beppy Underworld Champions I'm on the fence with this one, I gave it three stars. I was put off by the authors comments at the beginning of the book and I guess that left a sour taste in my mouth before I even started the book. I liked the story but I'm in no rush to read the rest of the books in the series.

I haven't been this thrilled with a book in a while, thank you!
Leslie I really enjoyed Tempt Me with Darkness, thanks for the pick.Tina I just finished Release Me which has been on my TBR list for ages. Thanks for the push.
Onto my last book for this challenge, Night Pleasures. Looking forward to this one.

You're welcome!! ; )
Thank you to everyone in Group 2 for my picks for this Round of M&G. It was my first time "playing" and I enjoyed it so much, that I have signed on for Round 4 and I am slowly making my way through all the picks for that one at the moment :)
To sum up this Round, I read 13 out of the assigned 19. Here are my comments on what I read:
Breann: Gone Too Far - Absolutely loved it. Gave it 5 stars and will continue on with the rest of the series.
Tina: A Moment - Another 5 star read. An emotionally, heart-wrenching story. And was great to do as a buddy read with you Tina :)
Turtlecollector: Against the Tide - Beautifully written story with lots of history.
Rachel - Goodbye Borders: Extreme Exposure - A great story. Yet another series for me to read.
Jane: Feel the Heat - This is my go to Series and author for Romantic Suspense and this one didn't disappoint.
Penney: Maid for Love - This is the first book I have read by Marie Force and I did like it (3 stars). But, and I almost hate to say this, at times I felt like I was reading a Bella Andre book. There were just too many similarities in the writing and I felt the ending was a bit forced. But the second book in the series sounds interesting so I will give that a go.
Nicole: Fireproof - this is an emotionally heart wrenching read, but so well written and gave me a lot to think about.
Joyce: Men and Martinis - a fun and witty romantic read. Great characters. And I am looking forward to reading the sequel.
Logan: Whiskey Rebellion - I gave this one 2 stars. It was well written and kept me engaged, but over all it didn't really work for me.
Amie: Danger Close - This book was the surprise of the bunch. I LOVED IT. So well written, a complex plot, great characters. It had it all and then some. I will definitely be reading more books from this series and author.
Ezinwanyi: Hard as It Gets - Another great read. Loved the characters and the story. I will definitely continue with the series.
Sallie(Shuga): Summer at Willow Lake - This one was such a fun read. I loved the witty dialogue between the main characters. There is a wonderful supporting cast of characters too. Another series I will continue with.
Ella: Almost Forever - This was another first time author for me, and not one of her romantic suspense novels. I picked it up at a second hand sale (for 25c) and it is the best money I have spent in along time. I loved the story and the characters. It is the second book in a trilogy, and I will definitely look to read the rest of the books.
Mandy I finished No Flag and I really liked it, it was beautifully written you felt as if you were there going through all of the ups and downs with Will and Mike. Thank you for the pick I gave it 4*s
~Melissa~ I finished Passion Unleashed and loved it. I can't believe I waited so long to continue with the series.MountainKat Just finished Texas Destiny and loved it. It was an emotional read, with one page making me smile and the next making me cry. So glad I finally picked it.
Thanks for the picks! I think I need to go find a light hearted book to read now.
Grace wrote: "MountainKat Just finished Texas Destiny and loved it. It was an emotional read, with one page making me smile and the next making me cry. So glad I finally picked it."Oh, you thought that one was emotional?! Just wait until you continue that trilogy - and you must continue it! Seriously, so very, very good!! One of my all time favorites!
I finished memoirs of a geisha last night and loved it!!!! Now I'm trying to find more Japanese based novels to add to my tbr :) all suggestions are welcome hehe
I just finished my last pick!! Woohoo!!Thanks ~Melissa~ for picking Stars & Stripes - I loved it, 5 Stars for me!!

I finished Darkfever last night and loved it! I couldn't put it down!!! Karen Marie moning is absolutely fantastic! I love her!
Finished my 5th book -
. Much better than the last few of Quinn's that I read. It's like her earlier books were written by a completely different person. Thanks for the pick, Aarati and Fran!

Glad you liked it. I do recommend to keep going, I've re-read the first 6 books of that series many, many times...
Just finished my 13th pick Midnight Awakening and really enjoyed it. I kept putting this one off because I didn't really like Elise in the previous book and sort of dreaded a whole book of her, but was pleasantly surprised. I actually loved the give and take/push and shove between her and Tegan. Thanks for the pick, Tina!
I finished my 19th pick...one more to go!Pam I enjoyed reading
it was a hot read, some erotic fire play was involved...never had read about that before, it was interesting......Thank you for the pick.
I just finished my 6th book -
and really liked it other than it was the last book of the series and I want more. Thanks for the rec Gea.
My last couple of books read for this challenge:
- I always enjoy this series! 4 stars. Thanks Lauren :)
- This was a lot sadder than I expected - with a lot more BDSM in it than I had realised. Good book - 3 stars. Thanks Debbie :)Not sure if I will sneak any more in by the end of tomorrow...
This is what I managed to read this round, I really hoped to get one more in but there wasn't enough time. Thanks everyone for great picks :)The Meet & Greet Challenge

I whipped through Dark Needs at Night's Edge yesterday and loved it! Not at all what I was expecting from Conrad and I adored Neomi. I have to quit reading this series and Lara Adrian's series so close together though since I'm getting the side characters and plots mixed up. Thanks for the pick, MountainKat. SO glad I squeezed this one in! I'm at 14 books read for this challenge.
Melissa wrote: "I whipped through Dark Needs at Night's Edge yesterday and loved it! Not at all what I was expecting from Conrad and I adored Neomi.
