That's little too far away :)The one you suggested last time (Wee Free Man) has few people in front of me in library. Any other suggestions?
Ok sorry i missed your post Tea. I had to run out to the radiology office. I'll check the unused books for aggregate. I'll check to see what books I have that could fit the goals while im add it. Audiobooks are becoming my good friend for this challenge :)

Yeah, but does he declare himself as one? Or he has another name. It's not what we would call him, but he needs to be species for lack of word.
Think Harry Dresden or Gandalf or Harry Potter.

if the goal is someone who actually does magic using power, not sleight of hand stuff, then he's definitely a wizard. He's certainly described as a magician (in the wizard way).
I'd say he's a wizard in the same way as any of those, or Ged of the Earthsea books (the closest comparison, as the magic is built around power of words)

shoot!
So sorry I've not been as active this round. My kids got a virus one after the other, and now I have it too, so was busy caring for them and now just feeling bad. The plus is that while I'm laying around in bed I'm able to read, lol. =) I just wanted to check in though.

Hm, with this wording Pratchett was wrong book.
I can switch him to new task and last year is open again.
So we need someone who died in 2014That would be Sue Townsend, Nadine Gordimer, Gabriel García Márquez, Kent Haruf, Scott Ciencin, Graham Joyce, Maya Angelou, P.D. James, Peter Matthiessen, Joe McGinniss
There are probably more, but I gave up after couple of google pages :)
As I'm now on holiday, I've only a limited subset of books available to me. I've lots, but less flexibility in meeting goals. Couple that with unknown quality of wifi and lost credit cards, I won't be able to source more. eg. I have PD James / Sue Townsend at home, but not loaded & with me.
Tea, I have trouble understanding the Wee Men too, you are far from alone!
Glad you enjoyed it though
