Marie Claude (mariecg2001) | 19 comments Finished the second book for this challenge, the 12th in Parnell Hall's Puzzle Lady series, The KenKen Killings. Sadly, even if it is better than the previous title, I decided not to read more books in this series. That's another way to "kill" series, isn't it LOL

Amanda | 7 comments So glad I got to read this series! It was truly excellent, just what I want from a cozy, and I'll be picking up the next books very soon I think! Thanks Linda C! Fundraising the Dead (Museum, #1) by Sheila Connolly

Linda C (libladynylindac) Finished my books for September - Trouble in Mudbug (Ghost-in-Law, #1) by Jana Deleon Trouble in Mudbug and Mischief in Mudbug (Ghost-in-Law, #2) by Jana Deleon Mischief in Mudbug. The first was hilarious; the second a little convoluted. I also read the e-novella called The Helena Diaries Trouble in Mudbug (Ghost-in-Law Mystery #1.5) by Jana Deleon Helena's Diaries which is a short retelling of Trouble in Mudbug told from Helena's point of view; not as funny as the original. Then I read the third in the series Showdown in Mudbug (Ghost-in-Law, #3) by Jana Deleon Showdown in Mudbug. This was more of a romantic thriller; more action.

Gayla Glass (gaylahambyglass) I enjoyed that series. You should also try Jana DeLeon's Miss Fortune's series.

Julesy | 409 comments I have 1-2 chapters left on the 2nd book from The Whales & Tails series by Kathi Daley, which I will probably finish tomorrow. I love this author but I think this will be the last book I read from this series. I don't like it as much as her Zoe Donovan and T.J. Jensen series. The reason mostly is because there is supernatural/paranormal bits and the cats seem to be psychic. Example: The main cat in the story gives the main character clues to the murder by knocking over books, notes, etc. to draw the MC's attention. I am not a fan of paranormal cozies so I will probably pass on the other books in this series. Others who enjoy paranormal cozies will probably like this series.

Sue Star | 24 comments I loved my first book Cliff Diver (Emilia Cruz Mysteries, #1) by Carmen Amato . Great twists and turns, a tough but compassionate detective, and fun to visit both the tourist and seamy sides of Acapulco! I haven't been able to get the second book yet, but I'm looking forward to more of this series.
