Erika | 9482 comments March is Women's History Month. Read a book with a strong female lead character. Please come back after you've read your book and let us know what you rated your book. Enjoy!

Turtlefrog | 237 comments Killing Sarai (In the Company of Killers, #1) by J.A. Redmerski was fantastic. I gave it 5 stars.

Sarai is held captive for 9 years by a drug lord in Mexico and this book is all about her escape and the assassin who helps her. She is not very strong throughout the book but that is to be expected as she has not known a normal life for 9 years. But as the book progresses she becomes more aware of what she can handle as what she needs to do to get her life back.

I just started reading Saving Quinton (Nova, #2) by Jessica Sorensen and I'm already impressed with the changes in Nova, so I'm thinking she is going to be a strong female lead in this one! I'll let you no at the end!

Erika | 9482 comments I'm reading Maine by J. Courtney Sullivan and there seem to be some possible strong female leads. I'll will keep you updated to see how they measure up.

So, I'm finding that there are 4 strong leads in this book. What I'm loving is that though they are strong they have a vulnerable side to them. At first glance all I saw were their short comings, but I guess as women we have many facets.

I finished Saving Quinton (Nova, #2) by Jessica Sorensen . I was right Nova's character was a very strong female lead. I gave the book 4*'s because as the title says her desire to save was compelling.
