Your welcome its excellent so far.
I pre-ordered Murder of Crows and read it the day it arrived. Up next is Cress.
After that I'm thinking of starting the The Body Finder series. Or maybe some more serious fantasy, like The Demon King. All of these are sitting my my shelf, waiting for me to decide...
The Lies of Locke LamoraThe Stand
Monster Hunter International
The Living Dead
So far the first 3 are worth reading. Living Dead is disappointing.
Finished Tales of the Cthulhu Mythos. Decent collection of stories. Now starting The Stone of the Stars. Looks like an unknown book by an unknown author. It has dragons. Probably a cliche quest kind of story, but those can be fun too so I hope I like it. :)
Ive currently got 4 books on the go at the momentTheft of Swords
The Lightning Thief
Assassin's Quest
Oath of Gold
I'm reading The First Discworld Novels: The Colour of Magic and the Light Fantasticand am looking to start Moonheart for my real life book club. Also just started A Storm of Swords

I think that Discworld is the best union of fantasy and humor, so I hope you'll read other books of this series.
Andrew wrote: "Krista wrote: "I'm reading The First Discworld Novels: The Colour of Magic and the Light Fantasticand am looking to start Moonheart for my real life book club. Also just..."I have invested in a giant stack of books from the series so It is a certainty. Enjoying book 1 so far.
Finished Woken Furies and, in light of his recent passing, decided to revisit one of my favorites, Michael Shea's Nifft the Lean.
I am trying to decide on what to read next, my choices are between, Among thieves by Douglas hulick
Promise of blood by Brian mcclellan
The way of kings by Brandon sanderson
Blood of requiem by Daniel arenson
A feast of dragons by Morgan rice
Malice by John gwynne
The grim company by Luke scull
The black gaurd by A.j. smith
The sword of light by Ej gilmour
The heresy within by Rob j. hayes
Please help me decide
I was saying that I always suggest Lawrence first, and then Sanderson second. Although there are a lot of great books on that list.
I really want to read The Name of the Wind, but I know for sure I'm reading The Palace Job and Blood and Iron. I don't really think I'm going to like Blood and Iron, because of the reviews I've seen, but I'm going to try anyway.
Finished Nifft the Lean and decided to move on to In Yana, the Touch of Undying, unrelated but also by Michael Shea.
curse of the mistwraith by janny wurts, i cant decide from all my other choices so ive started this series. im looking forward to it its got some good reviews

Shannon wrote: "The Lord of The Rings trilogy...starting today"You are in for a treat. Don't let the first 50 pages disuade you, though. It takes a while to get fired up.

Wow!! you've read some great stuff.
Don't you do any work?? :D:D
im really liking curse of the mistwraith so far there are some interesting characters, arithon and lysaer are sounding like interesting characters, i am looking forward to reading the rest of the book.
I have just started my first of the Mistborn series Mistborn: The Final Empire... While i am not sure if I will be able to finish it in March.. it looks really interesting and very gripping.
I finished Christine a couple of day ago and now I'm reading Inferno. I read all books of Robert Langdon series, also if The Lost Symbol didn't really liked. We'll see this.
I always have multiple books going. I'm on Sword of Truth #5, Steve Berry's The Emporer's Tomb(Thriller), and G.A. Aiken's Dragon Actually(PNR). I'm new to this group and can't wait to check out group recommendations!
I am reading curse of the mistraith then im going to try and move onto book 2 and 3 of the same series then blood song by anthony ryan, book 3 and 4 of the sorcerers ring series by morgan rice, way of kings by branderson, promise of blood by brian mcclellan,
among thieves by douglas hulick,
malice by john gwynne,
the grim company by luke scull,
untouched by robert j. crane. il work my way through those and see how far i get

Lol, yeah. I did take a day off for the Words of Radiance release. I don't have kids and I spend almost all of my free time reading, so I can get through a lot of material.

a day off for a book release??
Whoa!! Thats great. I've never heard anybody doing this kind of thing. Hats off to you for that....:D:D
How did you like Storm Front??
I finished In Yana, the Touch of Undying and started K.J. Parker's Devices and Desires because it's been sitting on my shelf staring at me mockingly for entirely too long.
Shari Kay wrote: "@IanWhat do you think of the Morgan Rice series? I've seen such mixed reviews for the first book."
Im enjoying it currently, Its got some flaws yes but its a good series all in all. There are some mistakes, but the storyline and some of the characters are interesting.
Manju wrote: "How did you like Storm Front?? "I liked it a lot. Butcher is actually the one that got me into fantasy, through his Codex Alera series so I had no doubt that I would love the Dresden Files. I also watched the single season TV show and loved that as well. His voice is phenomenal even if the pacing is slightly slow in the first book.
I just finished reading Words of Radiance, and now I'm rereading The Way of Kings for the third time. :)

I started Dresden Files last year. Seriously wanted to stop reading it after third book but somehow managed not to do that. Now I'm hooked and want to read all the books before the May release of Skin Game.
I'm on book #9:D:D
Dear lord. I just finished The Warded Man. This guy must have mentioned sex at least 100+ times in 400 pages (ok, that might be a slight exaggeration). I really don't mind sex in fantasy, but I got tired of hearing about people talking about it every other page.
I suspect Brett thinks that sex==adult. To me the series came across as YA for teenage boys who like reading about tons of sex and rape.

lol. I hated that book. Couldn't even finish it.
About halfway through is when it really shines. But after halfway through, it just felt like it was all downhill. I don't mind reading sex scenes, but his were like a $0.99 smut novella. He seemed to write while in a perpetual state of blue balls or something.
A.L. wrote: "I'm about to start Tempus:)"Now there's a book I've not read in a long, long time ... Did you know that she's been going back and revising & reissuing all of the Tempus books? Or is that the version you're already reading?
Yes I do know that, I've not long finished Beyond Sanctuary, Beyond the Veil and Beyond Wizardwall the author's cut version. I am reasonably new to this author but I love her books so far.
A.L. wrote: "Yes I do know that, I've not long finished Beyond Sanctuary, Beyond the Veil and Beyond Wizardwall the author's cut version. Someday I'll definitely have to check out the revised versions.
