First book summary

This book looks so much better than the first. Does it pick off where it left off? If so give me all the things I know to understand the second book :)

So a basic plot summary DOES CONTAIN SPOILERS so I really hope this is what yoou meant haha. So in the first book there is a girl named Juliette who has a power that anyone she touches she sucks the energy out of and quickly kills(she also realizes she has this crazy hulk-like power where she can destory shit but she figures that out towards the end of the book). She starts off in this mental institute semi-crazy due to being locked up in solitude after everyone in the world abandoned her(she does this whol crossing out thing which you'll catch onto fast). SHe's actually really nice and all but can't control her power. blahblahblah eventually this dude named Adam appears and is working as a spy for Warner(the evil guy) who is in charge of the current dystopian government(takes over the entire world and is really corrupt and the world is in shit cause we killed off the enviorment and theres no food and everyones dying and blahblahblah) so YEAH ADAM you find out is the first person to ever be able to touch her and they fall in love after Juliette is sent to live with Warner in his compound so he can use her as a weapons she eventuality escapes with Adam. ONce they escape, Adam runs into his friend Kenji(comic releif type of awesome character) and he shows them to this place where a bunch of people have powers and they're all hiding from the world in this little rebellion world and that I beleive is pretty mcuh the end (there are obviously a bunch of characters but I won't bother explaining all of them)
IMPORTANT EXTRA NOTES
-As of right now both Adam and WArner can touch her and they're both kinda in love with her (At one point warner caputured Adam and almsot killed him so She seduced warner into hooking up and then grabs his gun and shoots him evenhtough she felt some sparks)
-MUST read destroy me (the novella) before unravel me. It's extremley important as well as extremely short and no summary can explain just how crucial it is to the novel because it's from warners perspective and really shows you who he is
-I think I pretty much hit on all the major plot points eventhough I might have totally missed some haha this is all jsut from immediate recollection and it was all over the place so sorrry!! Hope this was what you wanted! :)
