So disappointed in myself as well as the book series.

Elizabeth, it sounds to me as if you're pretty bummed about not reading this series, but I gotta say, don't be! Look at it as making progress on your TBR anyway. I've had the same thing happen to me, where I read the first book in the series, than abandon the rest because I've despised that first book. I look at it like this: There are too many good books waiting for me to find them to waste my time reading a book I'm not enjoying.
If Ezi says it's ok, I'd be happy to pick another series for you to read this month, if you'd like.

It fine, and your right about that ,thinks for the offer
But I still got plenty to read on my September TBR to read. Known me after I finish all the books on my September TBR , I'll probably be added more to it, besides this gives me a chance to go get more books to add to my TBR.once thinks

The Hotness aka Four
Enjoy that book and then get the movie"
Can't wait!

Thanks, Armi!! I finished reading the (Dead)ish & (Dead)ish All Sorts series and they were very enjoyable. I should have read them sooner!

Thanks Danie, I've finished the series for now, although it looks like she adds a new book about once or twice a year, so I should be able to continue to enjoy what has been a 5 Star series for me. Just loved the whole series!

and I'm busy with a third. Really enjoying it. And it's been the perfect fit for a super-busy time at work because it is so easy to sink into. Definitely will keep reading for October and then see where I am with regards to the umpteen other series on TBR list. ;)

I finished both Sapphire Blue & Emerald Green this month and really liked the series. It's a light, fun adventure full of time travel and teenagers, egomaniacal bad guys and snarky pet demon-ghosts.
Thanks for pushing me to finish it! :)

I was able to read 2 of the October Daye series this month ~ and really hoping to get another one in before Thursday. **fingers crossed**

This series definitely picks up the more books I read. The first couple of books were a bit tough for me but now I'm finding them quite enjoyable and well worth the investment!
4☆ Reads for Both!

I pick for Joyce: Dresden Files
Joanne picks for me:Midnight Breeds

"
Joyce I finished up

full book - was just ok. Novella - Mathias was a big enough secondary character that I felt he should have gotten his own book. Anyway - thanks for helping me get them off my TBR and I'm that much closer to being caught up with this series!!

Thanks for the push Theo! I love this series and am thrilled to be up to date! :)
Wild Invitation — ★★★★★ 9/10
Beat of Temptation — ★★★★★ 2/16
Tamsyn and Nate are the first changeling couple we meet in this series, so it is a gift to be able to see where their story started!
Stroke of Enticement — ★★★★★ 9/9
It was nice to meet this couple! Annie and Zack are a great couple...so adorable and playful.
Declaration of Courtship — ★★★★★ 9/10
This is the first time I recall seeing a SnowDancer den outside of the usual Sierra Nevada area. I liked seeing how the pack works with Cooper in charge. He is a strong personality, but somehow manages to win the heart of a true submissive.
Texture of Intimacy — ★★★★ 9/10
This is my least favorite story of this anthology, but it doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it! Having seen Walker and Lana court in Kiss of Snow, I enjoyed watching them navigate the beginning of their life together. There was a little too much repetition throughout, which is what took a star away, but it's awesome to see how far the Lauren family has come since Slave to Sensation.
Play of Passion — ★★★★ 9/2
Each book in this series adds such an interesting and intricate layer to the overall story. I liked Indigo’s and Drew’s story, but there was too much of the same dialog over and over. The duplicate dialog is the only thing that took away a star from this story...overall, this book provided an immense of ammo for what's coming in the next books...and I...can’t...wait!
Kiss of Snow — ★★★★★ 9/12
What an amazing story! If I could give this book more than 5 stars...I would! I’ve enjoyed the foreplay between Hawk and Sienna since the beginning of this series. They are both so passionate there was no chance this story would be dull...and it wasn’t! So many intricacies throughout this book...I also enjoyed Lara and Walker’s story. With so much going on in this book, I am very impressed that—in my opinion—the main romance didn’t suffer. I look forward to seeing this alpha pair working together in the coming books!
Tangle of Need — ★★★★ 9/21
While I really enjoyed this book, it wasn’t the main story of Riaz and Adria that added to that enjoyment. Don’t get me wrong, I did enjoy their story, but I much preferred the additional insight into Hawk’s and Sienna’s story, as well as the craziness going on in the Psy population. Things are definitely heating up and I look forward to seeing where my favorite characters go from here!
Heart of Obsidian — ★★★★★ 9/22
I don’t know if there are any words to truly convey how amazing this book is. In the 11 previous books, the many layers within the three groups have been shown on many levels. The political strife began as an underlying tone, but quickly gained momentum. This book just blows the whole political structure to h*ll with such an unexpected method, as well as unexpected characters. I absolutely love this series...but of all the books I've read so far, this one just gutted me! It was so powerful and heartbreaking, making the redemption that much sweeter!
Shield of Winter — ★★★★ 9/28
Vasic has been such an interesting character in the past handful of books, so it was great to get to know more about the mysterious Arrow. His unique Psy ability put a bulls eye on him from the cradle, and it seems life didn’t get a whole lot better from there. Ivy Jane is a great addition to the empath camp. Her quirkiness is a delight coming from a Psy and I love how deadpan Vasic’s responses to her are...seriously, I cracked up, out load a few times! The only reason I couldn’t give that last star is because the ending seemed too rushed. There was so much going on, and while some of it wrapped up in what I felt was an appropriate pace, other story lines just wrapped up...too fast. But it’s still an awesome book!!!
Shards of Hope — ★★★★★ 9/30
While I knew I’d enjoy Aden’s story, I didn’t expect to love it! In the books leading up to this one, Aden seemed to be a fairly straightforward character. Not that he was one dimensional, but I didn’t expect to be so blown away by his character. He has such a passion for his people, his Arrows. I think having the opportunity to really know the Arrows in the past few books have given them a dimension and a heart. I’ve never felt the Arrows were the “bad guys” just because they were the elite Psy military presence. Seeing Judd grow over the course of the series so far, as well as Vasic and Aden, truly shows the genius of Ms. Singh’s ability to weave a complex world, but still allow it to be attainable. Zaira is another amazing addition to the cast of characters in this series. I wasn’t sure I’d like her. She is so ruff around the edges that she’s jagged. She hold so much anger and a seriously unhealthy amount of possessiveness. But at the end of the day, she is an amazing woman with such a capacity to show compassion and love, even though she doesn’t see it.
This book had so much going on! Still it didn’t get so unruly that I couldn’t keep up. I’m so excited to be caught up on this series, but so freaking upset I have to wait for the next installment!
