(view spoiler)[This is a really good book. The end of part one nearly had me crying. Ugh. The WWII era is always interesting to learn about. It makes me wonder if I would have been able to hold out or if I would have caved. She knew what would happen to her all along. I'm not interested enough in the characters and there is far too much about flying for me to enjoy it. It's not holding my attention very well, but I'll be finishing it anyway since I'm halfway done. I found Maddie's POV much more interesting than Julie's and it was very interesting seeing how their stories entwined, and how some of the characters weren't who they seemed to be. I found the story really slow although there were some moments where I found the story interesting but it didn't have enough to keep me interested.
