Finished reading Bayou Moon (The Edge, #2) by Ilona Andrews , I liked it even more than the first book. The authors have never managed to disappoint me so far. I keep dreading that their books might lose their charm. I think I've read over a dozen of their books within this past year.

Tania I just finished reading Rock Hard
Not an original premise but I liked the slow building and realistic(as much realistic as can be) scenes amd the hero*swoon*

You should just skip the fourth and read rock chick revenge first.Ava and Luke are arguably the best couple in the series:)

Oh gosh! It's out already? I quite liked the first book in the series. Besides, theses double letters' titles work for one of my challenges perfectly :D

I never thought I'd actually like the hero but he was what finally sold me to the book:o

I finished reading Flat-Out Love (Flat-Out Love, #1) by Jessica Park It's pretty good and I loved the characters. Although it was a teensy bit disappointing on my part that I figured out a big secret/spoiler long before it was explained. Really good book nonetheless.

~Book Reviews by Trish~ (bookreviewsbytrish) I just finished The Bonding (Tribe Warrior #1) by Imogen Keeper I have to say I really liked it, but there is a lot of sex so you have to be prepared for that lol

Just finished reading wrecking ball...it was Mariana Zapata style book so it was so obvious that i would like it and it was good upto the 80% mark. The author pulled the worst climax ever. Trust me.

Eva King | 8 comments The Black Isle by Sandi Tan I really didn't like it.

message 293: by Stacy (new)

Stacy Redmond | 1 comments I just finished Passenger by Alexandra Bracken and it was a fabulous read. I haven't read a time travel story for a long time and this really got me back into it. The characters were easy to like and the movement between timelines kept it interesting. For YA fiction I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys the genre. :)

I have Passenger on my TBR list. Glad to know you liked it, Stacy :)

message 295: by Linda (new)

Linda Clarke (lindaweaverclarke) I just finished reading a fantasy romance that really touched my heart. It was a story about an arranged marriage and how two completely different people, who were raised in separate kingdoms, had to learn to get along with one another. The two main characters were well developed. I liked that the author made the heroine as a strong woman character. I was instantly attracted to the hero of the story and that's important to me. The change that overcame each character as they got to know one another was done well. It's called The Alliance of Isian written by Serena Clarke. This is a series but each book can be read separately. It was written for both YA and adults and I really loved it. The Alliance of Isian

I recently read the fourth book of Winston Brothers series, Beard in Mind (Winston Brothers, #4) by Penny Reid .
I liked Beau's book a lot more than Duane's. But the third book remains my favourite of the series.

Isn't that interesting. Usually its the first book that grabs people and the 2nd and 3rd don't compare to how good the first is. haha. Apparently that isn't always the case.

message 299: by Ipshita (new)

Ipshita (miss_romanceaholic) | 4744 comments Mod
Yes, usually the first book has to make at least enough of an impression for me to continue with the series. But this one was quite the inverse, the first one was mostly an average read for me.

I just finished The Mysterious Affair at Styles (Hercule Poirot, #1) by Agatha Christie , Poirot's first book I believe :)
This was my second time reading it, my first time was years ago, back in middle school. Such a satisfying read!
