What book did you finish recently and how did you like it?
Just finished Slammed and absolutely loved it! Cute little romance with realistic struggles and the relationship just seemed more real and down to earth

I finished
and it was so good!! Unbelievable really...coz I hadn't expected that much from it. But really, it's a spectacular read:)) Recommended to everyone!

Mia and Korum, the Krinar Trilogy. Liked the creativity in the story line, but Mia was way too submissive. I wanted to shake her. I like girls with more spunk. She only really stood up for herself once. The rest of the time, she just "melted" at the mere sight of Korum and his fabulous body. Geez!
Ipshita wrote: "I finished reading
and I absolutely loved it. A strong heroine and a good long grovelling scene :)"I like spunky heroines too. Will have to check it out.
Today, I finished reading A Rake's Reform by Cindy Holbrook. I read historical romances extensively, but this is the first I've read of Holbrook. I am very impressed! I was enthralled and could not put this book down! It's not raunchy like some historical romance seems to be, but there is just enough tension between the main characters to keep you enraptured! I plan read some of her other novels very soon, and I hope they are just as satisfying!
the best of me by nicholas sparks ... totally got me hooked .... it was so romantic ...... apparently a movie is being made based on this book.....
Aparajita wrote: "I am sure romantic book lovers are all undoubtedly the biggest fan of Nicholas sparks....."Have you read The Wedding which is the follow up to The Notebook? I adored The Notebook, but it took me weeks to work my way through The Wedding! I was wondering if a big Nicholas Sparks fan felt the same way.
@Aparajita I've read Sparks' A walk to remember, it was really good, but I just don't like tragedies very much.
@Hazel That is a very good series, hope you like it.

I just finished
by Brooke Moss. I just loved it. Loved Posey and Drew, the family, how it was written and the humor.
Aparajita wrote: "@jennifer I haven't read the wedding.... I will read it"Great! I can't wait to hear about your experience.
MarkedJust finished this last night. If you're a fan of Kenyon's Dark-Hunters this is almost just as good

Recently finished Winning Miss Wakefield by Vivienne Lorret. I liked it, but kinda like Book 1 in the series more.
Recently finished reading Jude Deveraux The Summerhouse. Liked it so much I went searching for a sequel. Found Return to Summerhouse read that too. Liked it even more.
Ruchi wrote: "I had found it horrible..."Offensive on many levels, too. I also find the author's road to publication extremely unethical. You can't just steal someone else's characters!

I might look into that one. I'm a big fan of Naughton's romantic suspense (but actually don't like Kenyon!), so I think I'll probably like it. :)
I'm finishing reading a review copy of
but I've read it before. You either love it or you hate it, I guess...I've also just started
I've just read Tom Jones by Henry Fielding. The History of Tom Jones, a Foundling It was a swashbuckling sort of romance and I liked its jollity.
I finished reading
and I loved it. What a delightful read! And Sophie was just so likeable.
I plan to watch the movie too.

Have just finished reading Memoirs of a GeishaMemoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden. It was beautifully written by an author with a good knowledge of Japanese culture and life, but I found it rather sad.
Shilpa wrote: "I recently finished the Harry Potter series! It was AMAZING!!!! :D"I loved the Harry Potter series myself. A friend of mine insisted I read it. I was reluctant at first thinking the series was for children but I was hooked by the first chapter and own the entire series in hardback.
Andrea wrote: "I recently finished "The Lovely Bones". didn't liked it."Okay! I've generally heard really good things about this one though! :O

I know!! most of my friends loved it, but it was NOT for me. I thought that some parts were boring, didn't like the end, didn't like a lot of things. It was disappointing :(
