Okay so my mom's got a sore throat so I accompanied her to the doctor today, after her check-up, my mom told the doc to check me too. I'd been having muscle aches for a while and my mom told this to the doc and asked him to prescribe some vitamins for me. So the doc touches my arm and takes my pulse, and says "Of course you're having muscle pain, you have fever." Me and my mom were totally dumbfounded, then she told the doc that it can't be as I don't even have any temperature. The doc looked at me and asked for how long I've had the aches, and I told him for over a week. Then he turned to my mom and asked have you taken her temperature with a thermometer , my mom answered in negative. So the doc went silent for a few secs and then told me "You've had a fever for several days and now you're coming for a check-up?" You should have seen my mom's expression then. I barely held down my giggles XD
Turns out I'm one of those people whose fever doesn't show, and the doc told my mom to put me under house arrest for at least two weeks. Kinda extreme I think. :|

Ishi - it's a type of heart disease. Had that when I was in 7th grade. My case puzzled the doctors because the symptoms didn't match. And it hurt a lot too!

Hmm something happened to me while I was in class 10, I couldn't keep anything down, and had to suffer frequently for months. I went through a number of tests, I'm a lot better but my parents don't ever tell me what exactly happened then. Whenever I ask, even now, my only says," It doesn't matter what happened, all that matters is you're fine now." But the way my mom freaks out when I fall sick, kinda troubles me too :|

The cause of my parents freaking when I fall sick is coz i wouldn't go to the doctors until the very end. And by then it usually turns fatal.
I didn't wanna go to the doctor when I had rheumatic and when we did the doctor told my parents that it's so fatal, if not diagnosed, u can die with 3 days. It's universally fatal. And the way they looked at me ? I can never forget that.
Even till now whenever someone talks about that fever, they usually say they've seen a person die coz of it. My father always turns to me and the way he looks at me ? I cannot even look at him :|
After that incident I started sleeping in my own room and.. Ever since that, my dad comes to check on me every morning !
