Sou - Wow. I fully support your decision to work in that service. Would love to hear about it more once you get the job :D

@Ipshita yeah.. i am hoping to collect many of my own.. :)
and you've met a lot of forest officers?
and you've met a lot of forest officers?
@Fong "if" i get the job.. lets see.. :P
@Sou My father loves mountains and hill stations, so we cross paths with them often on our vacations. :)
Ishi- for most of my middle school I was a cardiac surgeon. I was soo sure about it and soo determined, I took special interest in biology (which still interests me, it's physics why I didn't go for science). I had this life planned out infront of me. I was to finish high school then go abroad for college then I was gonna graduate sometime around 23-24 years of age. Then I'd be an intern also studying for my surgeon degree which I'd get around 27-28. Then I'd start practicing surgery and start studying for my Ph.D which I was to get around 35. I'd be married at 25 or 26, kids somewhere around 30 and settled somewhere abroad next door to my (also doctor) BF.It didn't last even till the end of my middle school. Things change and u're uncertain and the future's hazy but it's okay.. U're not even our age yet ! It's okay for u to be scared.. All of us are at ur age ! Heck we still are !
Don't worry :)

Our stories nights will definitely get more interesting.
Ipshita - I just want to get my hand on a bow though...it's difficult to find an archery range anywhere!
Ishita wrote: "Ishi- for most of my middle school I was a cardiac surgeon. I was soo sure about it and soo determined, I took special interest in biology (which still interests me, it's physics why I didn't go fo..."True that :)
Fong I really want to learn archery, but I've never noticed a single school in Kolkata. Archers are way on top of my list, right under cowboys, you see :D
I think i should go. Eyes are hurting. Might come back later if you all are here.
Fong- I wanna be a travel journalist too !And that's the best part about such jobs ! U never know what u're gonna do when u get to work, who u're gonna meet, heck u don't even know where u have to go from there ! It's all a mystery ! No matter what u've got planned out, nothing ever goes that way !
I'm gonna study journalism and literature at some point after my MBA !
I think I'd take up one of those jobs than go into business ! I'm doing this mostly for the satisfaction for my father since he knows how keen I am on becoming totally independent :)
Ipshi - I only got to use a bow once...and I loved it! Too bad I couldn't find a school...so I settle for reading about archery instead...
@Ishita: Thanks.. you know there are people whose parents put pressure on them? My case is opposite. My parents say stay calm. Its me who gets easily worried :PI guess I just overthink things.. that has to change for my own benefit .__.
@Ipshita yes.. hopefully. :)
Sourabh wrote: "I think i should go. Eyes are hurting. Might come back later if you all are here."Take care Sou :)
And g'night if you plan to sleep :):)
Sou- sure :)And I'm sure u'll get in !
Atleast then u'll have tons of interesting stories to tell us ;)
Ishita - Yeah! Now I remember, I also want to travel around and writing about the cuisine of different countries...that satisfy my love for cooking and traveling and writing :)
Okay, I'm gonna list the things I've wanted to be :PPsychologist, lecturer, journalist, a published writer.. that's that. :D
The thing is I get confused easily :P:P
Ishi- my parents are the same !I've always hated Maths and when I finally took math as an optional subject in high school I wanted to quit after a week. My friends told me it won't do me any good in the future. I knew that too and so I talked to my parents and told them all the advantages and disadvantages of doing what I wanted to. Ofcourse it had more disadvantages but still my father said, "do it tomorrow if u want to. It's better to face some difficulties then to regret ur mistakes."
Fong- except for the cooking part, I wanna do the other two, too :)And I tried karate too. I didn't survive one month :P
@Ishita: My parents are like, do anything, but not cause someone forces. Because you love that job :)The irony is, my dad is a distributor and publisher of books, and he HATES reading :D
Ishi- yeah, my dad says that too :)The irony is, I LOVE traveling more than anything in the world and plan on exploring the world and I have THE worst case of motion sickness ever. I cannot sit in the back of a car for a ride longer than 10 mins. Makes me all giddy and nauseous and pukish and all. :|
@Ishita: That must suck! Sometimes fate just gets cruel :/ The main problem with me is I have really low self-confidence :P
I'm not sure of anything I write.. I know I like it or not but I always have a feeling that its no good :|
Idiotic, weird, but true :/
Motion sickness can be really hard sometimes. So how do you manage when you go for vacations to the mountains?
Ishi- it's idiotic, true. But that's how u know it's real.. Being scared means u're doing something that u like and that's the right way. The right direction.A little piece of advice- learn to believe in urself. I used to think like that too but then I realized, noone's gonna believe in me until I do. I'm never gonna be good enough until I think I am good enough. Yeah, others might not like it but that gives u an idea about what u did wrong !
Don't be corvettes about what the world thinks of u.. U think all the things I told u guys about, I'd be able to do if I worried about what others thought of me ? Notice all those things were mostly in my later years of middle school or high school coz before that I was just scared. Just like u.
I learned this the hard way. I had no one to tell me what I'm telling u. I've always been the eldest in my house ! But I'd be more than happy if I could be of any help to u :)
PS- I've always wanted a sister as it is :P
Ipshi- I puke. All the time -_-Just this March, we went to Kodaikanal (a hill station in south) which was atleast a 50kms up on a hill. While going there, I took a medicine my mother gives me for motion sickness, I makes u fall asleep but it didn't work that time coz the weather was way too beautiful I couldn't sleep. It was 6:30 in the morning. Somehow that journey up the hill passed without a problem but when we were coming back ? I puked atleast 15 times on our way down the hill ALONE. Then I puked about 3 more times during the next half an hour after which I finally fell asleep -_-
@Ishita: The thing is, even tho I'm the youngest, there are really few people I can count on advice for. My cous sis, who is 4 years older than me, is (no offence) so self obsessed that she would never praise anyone other than herself so I can't ask her anything. And all the OTHERS treat me like I'm 5 which honestly gets irritating :|Yep its good to be a kid. But they only take me as someone who knows about things, when they are talking about my studies, OR pointing out the many faults I have. Sometimes I just get so irritated I don't want to even meet them. But then I remember they are the only ones I have.
Being the eldest is better than youngest, trust me..
I used to have mountain sickness when I was really young, thankfully I've outgrown it now.
I'll be going off now guys, g'night :)
I'll be going off now guys, g'night :)
@Ishita: Oh gosh! I can't even imagine how you were feeling. My mom can't travel in buses. Were you alright after that trip?
I don't wanna be the youngest but I just wished I had an older sibling who could teach me things. Tell me about them. Who'd be there when I need a shoulder or when I need an advisor or just someone to talk to. Younger ones are not tht helping. Atleast younger (immature) brothers aren't..Anyway, I do have one elder sister I can count on. But while getting where we have I almost lost her once ! Why ? Because I made a mistake which no one was there to talk me out of.
Life brings u things and u come across people and u develop relations u never though u could but it all comes at a price. It's just cheaper when u have someone to talk to :)
'Night ipshi ! Sleep well :)Ishi- I have never been worse. -_-
And it goes without saying. If I cannot travel in cars for that long, I CANNOT travel in buses at all ! I used to puke in the bus everyday on my way to school as a kid -_-
I've out grown train sickness but not completely. I'm okay if it's a 20hr journey but more than that ? Can't say.
I cannot sit in an airplane without medicines. They make me sick the most. And usually I'm sick the entire day even after landing.
I've never had anyone to talk to. Neither a younger sibling nor an older. Guess how hard it must be for me. Then after a while you come to realize that you can't open up to everyone. This has made me the kinda girl for who letting things out is tougher than keeping them in quietly.
Wow...Ishita is chatty today, just had my nap :-):-). It sucks to be nauseous while traveling...luckily I don't have it...but I puke if I get too anxious :/
I get it. We're very similar in that sense.Letting people in is still a problem for me no matter however mature I become :|
Fong- I guess I am in the mood of reflecting after all !I feel very weird today.. I feel kinda low, maybe that's why :|
I'll shut up now.
