Amber (amberterminatorofgoodreads) Hey All! I was just curious but what book series is everyone currently reading and are you enjoying it.

The book series I am currently reading and enjoying right now are:
Pizza Lover's Mysteries by Chris Cavender-I am almost done with it. Got Books 4 Pizza to Die For, 5 The Missing Crust, 6 The Missing Dough & 1 A Slice of Murder to go until I am all caught up.

The Virals series by Kathy Reichs-This series concludes of Virals, Seizure, and Code. Book 4 Exposurecomes out next month. It's a pretty good YA Series.

The Kingdom Keepers series by Ridley Pearson-I am all caught up with this series until April when Book 7 The Insidercomes out and it is the final book of the Disney YA series.

Chronicles of Nick by Sherrilyn Kenyon-I am caught up with this YA series too. Book 5 Illusioncomes out in April.

I'm also a fan of the series The League by Sherrilyn Kenyon, Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich, the Dark Hunter series by Stephanie Plum, and the Abarat series by Clive Barker. I also like the White Rabbit Chronicles by Gena Showalter too but have only read book 2 of the trilogy. The Defiance series by C.J. Redwine is pretty good as well. These are the series I am enjoying right now. There are probably others I haven't discovered yet but these are all pretty good. The Warriors series by Erin Hunter is great too if you are a cat fan. :)

Roseanne | 1239 comments I need to learn how to actually complete a series. I have several series that I am in between books and I never seem to get to read them all.

Amber (amberterminatorofgoodreads) Just read one at a time Roseanne. That's what I do. Like I am reading the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich and there are now 21 books in the series so I've just decided to read 1 or two of the books in the series a year and right now I am on book 11. on my other series I am all caught up until march for one, april for two of the series I am reading and then it is august and September for others.

Tracey | 916 comments My problem is I start reading books that are in a series and then either wait around for the next one to come into paperback, and/or just lose the motivation to keep up with it after awhile. These are the ones that I'm currently "invested" in still.

1 - A Song of Ice and Fire (A Game of Thrones) which I'm caught up on and waiting for the next books to come out. This could be a few years...

2 - The Cousins War series I'm starting the 3rd book of The Lady of the Rivers. My goal is to catch up on to at least finish the 4th book and wait for the 5th to come in paperback.

3 - The Temeraire series by Naomi Novik. I might need to re-read that one at some point though as I've seem to have lost my memory as to what was going on.

4 - The Heroes of Olympus series, I just finished the 2nd book. I'm not sure but I don't think the 3rd is in paperback and I'm not in a rush to read it.

Roseanne | 1239 comments I want to read the game of thrones and the cousins war series. I have read the the Lightning Thief but haven't gotten to the rest of the Percy Jackson series but was looking at the Heros of Olympus for when I am done with Percy. I still haven't read the third book in the Divergent series yet. I read 2 and have 3 books to go in Barbara Freethy's Angel's Bay series. There is also Sacrifice by Cayla Kulver, the third in a series. I think I also heard that Maze Runner is a series and I am on hold for that at the library. I should read one of these next. I might have a problem.

There's a few series I really love:

A Song of Fire and Ice by George R.R Martin: Really should continue with it!
Nikki Heat by Richard Castle: I have become slightly obsessed with book series based off my favourite tv shows. The Castle books are hilarious if you've watched the series. All the references! Currently waiting impatiently for book 6
Rizzoli and Isles by Tess Gerritsen: The book series the TV show is based on. Must admit, I like the tv show more.
Pretty Little Liars: Like above, the first book basically covers the pilot of PLL. Really should try finish them!

CaptKirk42 Classic Whovian (klandersen) | 455 comments Just started my re-read of the last book Generation Warriorsin the Anne McCaffrey "Planet Pirates" series:

Ireta Series:
Dinosaur Planet Series:
Dinosaur Planet
Dinosaur Planet Survivors

Planet Pirates:
Sassinak
The Death of Sleep
Generation Warriors

I have enjoyed them very much. Back in the 1990s I had originally read (in this order) The Death of Sleep and Sassinak and then Generation Warriors when it came out. That is how I thought the series was intended at the time and I thought the publishing order. As far as chronological order in the series that also seems the best for these three. Then I found out about the two Dinosaur Planet books. Those two definitely need to be read in order of Dinosaur Planet and THEN Dinosaur Planet Survivors and Generation Warriors needs to be saved for last. Death of Sleep and Sassinak can be read either way, I personally prefer Death of Sleep first because it is mostly first chronologically between those two books. A fan website has more details of the books and shows a chronological order of the main events: http://mccaffrey.srellim.org/series/d...
