Firebird series

One of the very best space operas out there from a Christian perspective, the Firebird series is one I recommend to all who love Christian science fiction. There were originally three novels, and then Kathy Tyers wrote two more.



Have you read the books? What do you think?

I bought Firebird earlier this year when Enclave was able to get there first books they published at Lifeway. Can't wait to eventually start this one because I have heard so many good things about it!

I've only read the first one, but I really enjoyed it. I'm going to pick up book 2 as soon as I can. :)

I'm a total Star Wars geek, and Firebird definitely reminded me of those movies, but I liked the Christian perspective. I'm always trying to find sci-fi novels with Christian messages.

My only complaint is that there were a lot of character names to keep track of. ;)

Oh, yeah. Definitely a lot of names! I guess that comes with the territory on such a "big" book.
