Off to try reading two chapters, but I am SO behind and my grandson just called me to say Happy Grandparents Day and invited me to a movie, but I've been gone ALL day so we are going to see a movie tomorrow after work and HE is paying!! :o)

We are seeing No Escape. I used to take him all the time and yesterday was Grandparents Day so he called me at 4:30 to see a movie...his treat! But I had JUST gotten home. He said he's off today so we planned it for after work. Nice surprise for me!

I had a really good time with Christopher, just the idea that we treated me and thought of me! The last time we went to a movie together we saw Mockingjay Part 1. LOL

I got through the middle of Ch. 13 . Actually I think I have 3-5 pages left, but when my husband got home from work around midnight I was knocked out with the book open on my chest. I just couldn't get through those last few pages, but I will catch up today and read Ch. 14 too.

I will say that Edward seems to (view spoiler)[ have it really bad for her! WOW! He has to use a lot of self control just not to hurt her. That is really admirable to see him want to kill her/drink her blood SO much yet refrain from doing so because of how he feels about her. He's shared a lot of what he can do so no wonder she is scared of him, but I think she's just so sure that he won't hurt her so she overlooks it. Of I'll read the next few pages to find out he kills her. LOL I'll post again after I totally finish if there is anything else to address. (hide spoiler)]

Pivotal relationship wise! So I think you've got most of it read already. Maybe turning point would be a better phrase? I just think this chapter is when it's all OUT THERE NOW, ya know? No going back after that trip to the meadow.

Ye I really enjoyed it, haven't read it for a few years. The 2nd and 3rd ones I have reread the least and for at least 5 years, so will be good to reread them. There is stuff that I am finding out, I had completely forgotten about how Carlise got turned.

That's good. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Can/do you enjoy 2nd or more reads as much as 1st reads, or are they always a little less enjoyable?

No I sometimes find them more enjoyable than the first because I understand more and pick up subtle hints I might not have before and I know when my favourite bits are coming up :)

That's interesting because I'm not a re-reader. I always feel like there are too many good books I haven't read yet.

That's true but I have my few favourite series that I do love rereading but I cannot do it for every book.

Also, Clockwork Angel is REALLY good, I loved books, lol!

Becky, I got Clockwork Angel on audio too, thinking I'd maybe "read" it with you but I don't have a hard copy. I like to use a hard copy too so that when I don't understand names or words or I want to see the spelling I can. LOL How far along are you?
