Becky...YES!!! I bought the entire series this summer at a HUGE book fair in San Fran. No books were over $3.00! I think these were $2 each.

We will read book 2 for sure!

Okay, so I finished Ch. 8...my favorite chapter so far!

I loved the girls (view spoiler)[shopping for the dresses and just the girl stuff we love to do so much! (Is that sexist? lol) (hide spoiler)]

But the other part of this chapter that I liked a lot but only because my heart was pounding is (view spoiler)[when those guys were following Bella...every girl's worst nightmare!!! (hide spoiler)]

And, yes, Edward is very SEXY! It's funny though because under normal circumstances, I would not like a guy (view spoiler)[following me and ordering me to eat...but somehow it's hot coming from him. LOL (hide spoiler)]

I can't believe that Bella (view spoiler)[ knows he's a vampire and isn't scared at all? I mean, say what? I'd at least be asking questions, especially since she "knows" he wants to drink her blood. (hide spoiler)] Ewe...this is why I could NEVER watch vampire movies! LOL

At least Edward is, for the most part, (view spoiler)[opening up some and answering questions. I like that. (hide spoiler)]

I'd have to agree with you about Jessica.

The thing I love about Edward is his (view spoiler)[mystery but at the same time he is obviously so into Bella. He is just sexy in everything he does. (hide spoiler)]

I kind of squealed when Edward (view spoiler)[told Bella that she did NOT like him more than he liked her. I can imagine her trying to contain herself! LOL (hide spoiler)]

It's funny how they trade off (view spoiler)[asking each other questions. (hide spoiler)]

I wonder if Billy is going to be (view spoiler)[trouble of some kind for her and her dad or Edward. It just seemed like his following the car was kind of mysterious, so it gave me the thought of it being some kind of foreshadowing. (hide spoiler)]

One of my very favorite lines from this book (I've read it AT LEAST 10 times) is in the Preface:

"When life offers you a dream so far beyond any of your expectations, it's not reasonable to grieve when it comes to an end."

Plus, even tho I know a lot of ppl don't care for Stephanie's writing it's SOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH better than the movies - they destroyed those very badly in the first movie. I was SO ANGRY, lol.

So far he is just OK. I don't love him but I don't dislike him either. I can take or leave him. Now, Edward, on the other hand, I love!!! I can take him!! LOL

Good!! Lol It was agreed to do a chapter a day but not worry if I can't. Emma has been so kind and patient with me! Without her support id never have gotten this far and I have the entire series that I bought at a book fair this past summer.

This is a reread for me so I know what happens, not like I am itching to find out what happens next. I am so behind with buddy reads too.
