Kaia Leigh (kaialeigh) | 3 comments I started reading this book from our extensive second-hand book collection as a teenager but before I could finish it, it fell apart and I lost the second half. It was about a guy who (for a reason I can't remember) started to turn into a skeleton. Only he knew he was a skeleton, which I guess means he was delusional, and the only real detail I remember is him at a dinner party, drinking and the wine running out of his (bones, I guess).

What genre? Horror, comedy, literary fiction, etc. Remember the cover?

Kaia Leigh (kaialeigh) | 3 comments I think dark comedy. The cover had a skeleton drinking a glass of wine - I think. It might even have been 1930s

I have been looking for that book also Kaia, about the only thing I can remember about it, is that it was very funny. Alas, my copy also fell apart, bit by bit.
I would really like to find out the name of it.

Andy | 2124 comments Great. When Kaia mentioned that it might be from the 1930s I remembered Thorne Smith was from that era, and wrote that kind of thing (he's best known for "Topper") and checked a list of his works, and "Skin and Bones" seemed likely.
