L.J. Hayward Hi!

I've already put up a message about my fantasy, Dead Bones, but I also have an urban fantasy series I'm keen to get more reviews/ratings on. Blood Work is the first book and it's free on Smashwords (all formats).

I'm keen to do swaps on other fantasy, urban fantasy or horror books.

Cheers, L.J.

Amber Daniels | 16 comments this is the book description Charles grew up with his mother in a small Oklahoma town, where he is known as a freak and a nobody. The fact that his dad is believed dead, and his best friend is the town drug dealer, doesn’t help him much. But that all changes on the day of his fifteenth birthday, when the guy he has thought was just a family friend shows up demanding that Charles is told the truth about his life and his world; his mom isn’t his mom, his dad was once a member of Odin’s guard (the Odinites) and is now possibly a traitor, and Charles is not named Charles. But his name is Magnus, and he is the prophecy child. He is then given his father’s ring (that has unknown powers) and after almost killing a school jock is whisked away to Asgard where he can learn to use his powers properly. Upon arriving in this new world he is introduced to the other Odinites, who are to be his fellow warriors, even the only female Odinite Helena whom he can’t decide whether she likes him or wants to kill him. With his powers and the powers of the others he is trained to save the nine worlds; that is unless the newly awakened Loki and the evil Goddess Hel; with the use of secrets Magnus desperately wants the answers to, can sway him to destroy the worlds instead.
AND you can read more about the book at mine and my brother's web site www.thefatkidsbooks.com

The sequel, The White Russian Caper: A Damien Dickens Mystery, is scheduled for Amazon release on November 20th, and is available to order now (http://www.amazon.com/WHITE-RUSSIAN-C...).

Lia Black (liablack) | 2 comments Hey Guys-- Not to be a poopy: Just an FYI, if nobody has previously mentioned it-- it's an FTC requirement to state that you received a free copy of a book for a review somewhere in the body of your review. Just wanted to let you know, because GR and Amazon will delete reviews that don't have such a disclaimer (should they find out).
Something simple like: "I received a free copy of this book for an honest review" or something to that effect.

Okay, as you were. :-)

Lia Black (liablack) | 2 comments Yeah-- just don't want to see anybody getting into trouble. I know we all hate to read the legalese of stuff like TOS (and FTC regulations-- but my day job deals with government regulatory matters, so I have little choice!)-- but there is a good discussion on the GR Author Feedback group that kind of helps to answer a lot of questions about commercial and non-commercial reviews (and those grey areas):

A note about commercial reviews
Hope it's helpful!

A.F. (scribe77) Hello everyone.
I'm an author of horror and dark fantasy, with several published books, mostly novellas and short story collections. message 119: by Nancy (new)

Nancy Miller | 1 comments Thanks for inviting me, T.C. Hello everyone! I would welcome a review of my novel Hologram: The Seduction of Samantha Bowman. Here's the blurb:
Playing an erotic fantasy game seems just the ticket to put a little sizzle back in Samantha Bowman’s life. Samantha escapes to a virtual reality invented by her husband’s company, Holotech, where she feels more sexy and desirable than she has in years. She becomes ever involved, unaware she’s become the pawn of a clever psychopath with deadly intentions.
Swept up in a vortex of circumstances, Samantha goes beyond the edge of reason to a place where she attempts the unimaginable . . .

A fast moving story woven with intrigue and skullduggery, love and second chances that races to the climax and a final clash between good and evil.

Hologram is available for free at most retailers
Thanks!
Nancy Miller

Valicity Elaine Hello all! Glad to join another Indie Author group!
My book, Cross Academy could use some reviews. It's a post-apocalyptic YA Dark Fantasy novel involving demons, witches, action, and plain old good versus evil.
I'm more than willing to do a review swap with other authors but I can definitely provide a copy to any readers who may not have books to exchange. I can provide PDF, mobi, or ePub.

Here is a short blurb:

Imagine looking outside and seeing a giant brick wall. That wall surrounds your entire village. It blocks out the danger, it keeps the horrors out...but it locks you in.
The world nearly came to an end on Black Day when legions of demons crawled from beneath the earth and devoured two-thirds of the population in a single night. Sixteen-year-old Fox Fire witnesses the slaughter of her family and joins Cross Academy to help fight the demons. It's not long before she's recognized as a fully-fledged Demon-Hunter but her loyalty is put to the test when her best friend becomes possessed.
Fox must decide if she will slay her only companion or complete her duties as a Hunter.

Send me a message if you're interested. Remember, I'm open to review swaps!

C.B. Archer | 1 comments Hello Everyone!

This is an interesting group. I'm always happy to give away copies to honest reviewers. I also read fantasy novels and anything really really original.

If anyone fancies getting away from their normal genres and reading from the newly created Elfrotica genre let me know!
(or if this is already your normal reading genre then send me a friend request right now!)

My book does not take itself seriously (as you may have guessed) so bring a sense of humour, and some tissues (maybe extra ones if you plan on crying).

Warning: contains Bold Text!, italics!, m/m content, and vigorous monster banging!

Rebecca Gransden (anemogram) | 7 comments Greetings everyone.

Thanks so much for the invite. Looks like a really great group. I'm looking forward to discovering some interesting reads from fellow indie authors.

I self-published my debut novel, anemogram., in August and am on the hunt for reviews for it.

Here's what it's about:

A young girl emerges out of the woods. David is in the middle of wrestling with an unsatisfactory existence when she enters his life. He decides to look out for the girl, but he soon discovers she may not be all she seems.

Together they decide to seek out a place of safety, away from a world that could misunderstand their relationship. As their troubles come to the surface, events take a turn that will have life-changing consequences for the both of them.

If anyone is interested in reading and giving me their opinion and/or reviewing then please message me through GR and I'll get a copy to you.

Here's where you can find me:
https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...

I can provide PDF, MOBI and EPUB - whichever is best for you!

Thanks :)

The Improbable Wonders of Moojie Littleman by Robin Gregory

"The Improbable Wonders of Moojie Littleman,"debut YA novel by Robin Gregory, is the story of a disabled orphan who looses two sets of parents and seeks to find a family he can belong to.

Genre: YA, Magical Realism, Coming-of-Age

After his mother dies, eight year-old, disabled Moojie is sent to live with his grandfather at St. Isidore’s Fainting Goat Dairy, where he befriends a clan from an alternate universe. Six years later, this forbidden friendship and subsequent events reveal an extraordinary boy’s tale of loss and connection, first love, and self-discovery.

Dog!: You'll Never Look At Your Dog the Same Way Again.

Dog! You'll Never Look At Your Dog the Same Way Again. by Mike Robbins

Blurb:
So you think you know your dog?

Bazza is an easy-going middle-aged college lecturer with a taste for weed, porn, beer and redheads. When he adopts a rescue dog, he sees nothing odd about the animal. Then a Himalayan monk comes to visit, and senses something strange.

Dog! is a powerful story of love and loss, sin, redemption and dog mess. You’ll never see your pet the same way again.
