I'm about to go out on submission with an MS and my agent has asked me to unpublish a previously published novella, which I did. Since it is no longer available, I'd like to remove it from Goodreads but it says I need a librarian to do this.

#564-1 one edition has a different cover (there is some text in the upper left corner of the cover, also different color). Two editions merged.

#564-1 Sorry, I missed that. You are right, one of them is a reprint.

A user created two german books but she didn't realize that those books already were in the database (she put her books without ISBN). So I ask for the merging of two books in each pair:

I created this record in preparation for self-publication since I am the author. Shortly before the publication date, a publisher picked up the book. Since then we have changed the title and cover. It has new ISBNs, and other changes. I tried to update the book information, but at this point I think it would be better for me to create a new record for the book with its new title. Since this one never made it to publication, it doesn't exist and should be deleted. Thanks.

The first link has an ASIN entered in the ISBN13 field, but the kindle book with that ASIN is already in the GR DB (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...)
[EDIT: It turns out that the German Kindle editions of the Bartimaeus series have been erroneously imported as English editions with English covers. When searching for the ASIN used in the first and third link this results in the German Kindle edition of the first book in the series -- not just on Amazon.de, but on Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.com as well. Same with searching for the Kidnle edition of the second book in the series erroneously filed as English on GR: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1....
I am now going to fix the German Kindle editions of the three Bartimaeus books erroneously filed as English editions.
