Cori Mcgowen | 6 comments If I remember right a star came to town to film a movie and for experience or just because he decided he wanted to enrolls in a regular high school, where he meets and falls for a normal girl who I believe doesn't want anything to do with him to begin with. She doesn't like him or thinks he is conceited or something. One scene I remember in particular is how they met they both bent down to pick something up in the class and bumped heads and he commented something about "meeting cute" which I guess is a movie term.

If I remember right the picture on the cover was the boy star in sunglasses by a fancy car, or something like that. But I was young when I read it.

Any help would be appreciated it is driving me nuts :)

Thanks

Cori, the typical bump period is 30 days (or sooner if you have more details about your book).

This is from 2004, but I think it fits your description otherwise: Teen Idol

Cori Mcgowen | 6 comments Thank you, it is very similar to this book but the one I am looking for is a lot older. If I remember right the picture on the cover was the boy star in sunglasses by a fancy car, or something like that. But I was young when I read it.

Tab (tabbrown) | 5084 comments Was this part of a series?
Time period/location story takes place?
Was it more of a romance, humor, mystery, etc?
Do you remember any other characters, like friends, sidekicks, family, teachers, etc?

Emily (vocalise) | 27 comments I loved Ellen Conford as a kid, and I read this one a couple of years ago after finding a copy at a book sale. It is wonderfully 80s! Enjoy your reread!
