About a year ago I read a book that I thought was a normal book about a girl who is staying over the summer somewhere or moved somewhere new and meets mysterious guy. Dude is a witch and tells her. He wants to teach her about wicca and she is intrigued but unsure if she should learn about it. She also meets a boring overly clingy and protective (aka bossy in a patriarcal sort of way) he is a Christan. Whole book continues in the tune of Christian good wicca bad. This is all I remember. Didnt like the book but want to remember name. Sorry for typos and horrible writing all around. I'm tired.

yes it was terrible. I felt so tricked when I finally realized it was bullshit propoganda. I honestly just want to know the name so I can read other peoples reviews lol.
Jessica said:"I honestly just want to know the name so I can read other peoples reviews lol." LOL, one of my favorite things to do is to read reviews to books I hated.
I don't think this is your book (no mention of a boyfriend) but, this one fits a littleMoon White: Color Me Enchanted
Forbidden Doors was a YA Christian series like that. They were "Written to combat the influence of the occult on today's kids"
One of the books is: The Wiccan

no that's not it :/ in this book a guy gets her into wicca then another Christian dude gets her out of it... I think in the end she ends up with the christian side and plays basketball with him and his family... lol
i wish that people actually educated themselves before they wrote a book judging a whole religion of people!!!! like wtf!!!!!!
Jessica--the usual period for bumping is 30 days. But I hope someone ids this book since I'd like to read reviews too.
Ha, now you seduced me to read the reviews, and apparently other people loved it. You must save other readers from going over to their side by preaching to them via a review. lol
Glad you found it, Jessica! I'll move this thread to Solved and add the book to our group shelves.
