Avatar: The Last Airbender: The Promise Part 1

Okay, so I'm going to "cheat" a little for the trilogy weeks, but I don't feel super guilty because (1) I read The Stand by Stephen King which really should count as at least three books by its page count, and (2) I haven't read comics in ages, and isn't the point of this challenge for us to read beyond our usual reading routine?

I originally wanted to finish LOTR, but they seem too heavy right now. Maybe next year.

Anyway, I just finished the first part. So far, it's pretty good. The "Aang <3 Katara" thing is really annoying, though. Zuko's definitely my favorite character in the series and in what I've read so far. He's the one with the most depth.

I'm listening to the soundtrack while reading.
