This book was not as awesome as I thought it would be. I was so disappointed that this was how such an amazing series ended... I absolutely loved the plot and excitement in the second book especially, but in this book, nothing happened! (view spoiler)[Relationship drama filled the majority of the book, and then in the very last ten pages or so, the real action happened. That is not a good or creative way to structure a book! (hide spoiler)] There were so many things wrong with this... ugh. I can't believe this is how it turned out!!!!!

I am not disappointed!! Serious this book is the BEST in the all series!!! I love everything,Tahereh make singular and heart breaking and her words its literally hitting me!!! All the characters were important.

I have lengthy reasons why I was disappointed as well as really happy if anyone cares to read my review bc I really don't feel like doing that all over again...
well, i felt like there was a lot that was supposed to happen that didn't and that's really what my issue is. i enjoyed the book - i thought that it took us down the path that we should have gone on, but the issue that i have is that it was ended like Requiem was...so open that you're left wanting another installment, knowing that you're not going to get one. i mean, i love Ms. Mafi - i really do, but the last page? that was way too open ended.
Yeah, I felt like it ended extremely abruptly. I hoping there is a spin-off (hopefully for Kenji) which may give us some answer/insight into what happened after the end.

i like the 2 first book , but the last i really dont know , i felt something is missing ,
i was also disapointed, i have heard a lot of good stuff about it ,but i felt like it wasnt happenign anything.
I honestly thought that they were going to make a fourth book then I found out they weren't i almost cried. It really disappointed me how it ending. I thought the next book was going to be about how they were going to rule the world and stuff but nooooooo the series ended.
I loved it...this is one of my fave series...but I agree....I wish there was going to be a 4th book...I would love to see how Juliette runs the world!

It should at least have a 3.5 novella or something. That could make it even. I think.
I wanted to see more of Warner and Juliette then what we got. The overall book was good but it sort of stopped. Just stopped. No real finale I guess.

I'm just disappointed I didn't get an epilogue like DEFIANT REASSURANCE EVERYTHING ENDS UP WELL but ti was so excellent in the way it ended and creative i didn't mind i really loved it
I was disappointed too! Nothing really happened until the end! It just could have been way better. I think a lot has been left unanswered and an epilogue could have been needed. It was still a good book, but it could have been an amazing book.
I thought Ignite me was amazing! I'm glad Juliette finally realized what she was capable of! Everything about this book made me happy. But I will there was more... want to know what happens when James finds out Warner is his brother. I want to know how the relationship is between Warner and Adam now. I just want to know more like where they go from here!
I think this series centers more on character relationships than rebelling and the goverment. It was a more character driven series than plot driven.
Tell me about it The Fist book had me like: YES FINALLY THIS IS AMAAAZING!!!!Second Book: OKAY WARNER WARNER!! Bring on the war!!
Third book: WHAT WHAT???????? WHAAT IS THIS!??? NO NO NO NO YOU WILL NOT END LIKE THIS WHAAAAT? BLAHHHH I HATE THIS!

Although i'm a bitter Adam girl here, I wish the book had a thorough explanation for Juliette's emotions though. It kinda seemed like she toyed with Adam's emotions, then all of a sudden she's into Warner. Although I love the character development Warner has received, I'm still debating whether to hate him or love him.
After thinking about Ignite me for a few weeks, I finally realized how slighted I feel. That was NO ending! Like wait what? that's it? She kills Anderson and thats all. That won't solve anything except for vengeance. They are one small group up against the rest of the world? And I'm just supposed to take it on faith that they succeed, because reality says they won't. But the lack of an ending was initially so overshadowed by the AMAZING writing and Warner, swoon, so sexy. Even though I despise what she did to Adam. I loved him too. But seriously, out of no where Juliette realizes she should be the one in charge of this rebellion and basically ruler of the country once she single handed kills the rest of the people in charge? Because everyone else almost certainly will get killed. Nevertheless, it just needs one more book. Maybe we can all encourage Ms. Mafi to write another :D
I wasn't disappointed, I think the whole series was focused more on Juliette than overthrowing The Reestablishment. I did think it lacked action, but I liked the way it ended.
Good Lord. There were so many things that were wrong with this book.
-No plot
-Idiot/Useless protagonist
-ZERO WORLDBUILDING (a.k.a. this is not a "dystopia" in any capacity)
-Horrendous prose that probably made me lose several brain cells by the end of it
-Plot conviences
-Little to no description of anything that isn't the love interest's sky blue/cobalt/aquamarine/swimming pool/blue eyes
