Soft Stream

Simon groaned in pain. He had not been expecting that from a human. When he finally landed the air was knocked out of him. He would need a moment to get the air back but he didn't have a moment. He stood up and growled at the hunter. He felt pain all through his body as he stood. His bones were going to explode but he didn't care. He was going to make the hunter pay. He slammed the Hunter aside and drew his knife, it extended into a cursed blade as he walkes and he set up a protective spell around him

Simon was about to strike at the stupid human when Mira jumped in front of Hawk defensively with her wings wrapped around herself as a light shield. Simon was already in motion so he ended up hitting Mira with the sword instead of Hawk. He was a little taken aback but he needed to stay focus. He would worry about Mira later. He kicked her aside and growled at Hawk.
Owwwww. Mira tried to take her wings from around herself but it hurt. She groaned softly and called for her friend

Simon didn't have time for this. He growled lowly and gabbed the hunter in the side. He was about to strike again when something with claws grabbed his shoulders and flung him against a tree. Simon was too much in shock of the dragon to feel the pain but he shook it off. Great. Dragons were an animal right? He sighed and disappeared while the dragon shot flames at him.

((We gonna post at the forest?)
Simon growled as he battled the dragon once he had reappeared. Right. Mira was the fairy of animals. Naturally she could summon animals. Dragkns were animals. He should have thought of that.

((Well there is no on in the forest. We ca continue there?))

((Oh! 1 question and 1 statement; Do they know each other already or are they just meeting for the first time aaand Ren is only 11 by the way. Forgot to mention that.))

((Okay, I'm going to base the attack off of the most common problem now and that's tree cutting. So probably they could be cutting trees and they have to bring a hunter along just in case any attacks happen. Then he/she finds out there are mythics there and rampages through the forest. That isn't really a conflict that would last too long though.))

((Yeah I doubt we would use that person the whole time but they could come back later... *dun dun duuuuun* Anyways, do you want me to play the character?))

((Okay. Well I won't do anything with that character yet but I'll make the hunter's presence known.))
The water around Ren vibrating. She just giggled, liking how the water looked before kicking it making the liquid splash all around her. Ren stopped again when the water around her began to vibrate heavily as if it had began raining. With narrowed eyes, she slowly let her head dip into the water, a worried expression drawn on her face.

((It's only been two days. =\))
Ren sucked in a sharp breath as she heard the soft thudding stop right next to the stream, her head dipping lower in the liquid until it acted like a blanket on her, covering Ren completely. She scooted closer to the "hunter" her vision slightly blurred from the water. Luckily she was in the water or she would've been beyond terrified. She formed a spear with the water, too afraid to lift her head above the water.

Ren peeked at the human, her curiosity piqued. She'd never seen a hunter up close so while the human was looking the other way, her head popped out of the water observing the non-mythic. Ren's smile slowly faded, a small pout forming; this wasn't a human! He started running the other way, towards the humming of the machine. She clapped with a devilish smile jumping out of the water. She slowly started walking towards the humans, tripping every few seconds.

After a while, Ren got the hang of walking again. She almost never went on land, it was always so dirty and bugs weren't her favourite things. Just thinking about them made her cringe. She brushed herself off for the millionth time before walking faster towards the drilling of the man-made machines. As she got closer, she saw fields of stumps, tears of vexation swelling in her eyes. With her arms crossed as if she were throwing a tantrum and her lips formed in an arrogant pout, she stomped up to one of the humans not bothering to be furtive.

Ren couldn't take the light drumming noise that the machines emitted. They'd begun to feel like millions of tiny needles piercing her head. The vindictive spark that'd been ignited in her as she'd walked into the human-populated area had disappeared the moment she'd seen the trees and suddenly she felt fragile. They'd been there her whole life and they held deep sentimental value. Memories flooded into her brain as she noticed her own name was imprinted on one of the chopped-down piece of wood. She stuck her hands on her hips in a patronizing way, her ponytails bouncing gently on her shoulder while her narrowed eyes shot daggers at everyone she looked at.
"There," Jade said to Mira, pointing to the stream. "I don't see him. I might be early!" Jade hoped that she was so that she would be able to rub it in her brother's face. The other day she'd heard him bet one of her other brother's that she would be late by at least five minutes.
"I know where the stream is Jade." Mira crooned as she landed her dragon that really needed a name. Then she hopped off the dragon and looked around. Mira flickered in and out of view and frowned. "Did I bring my host?" Mira asked. She felt like Dori but she didnt really remember.
Mira frowned a little and sighed. "Darn. Oh well. I am sure it will be fine." She mumbled
"Yeah. He might be following... Didn't you say that he tried to keep around you?" Jade asked. She sensed someone hiding in the trees and looked towards the presence. "Darn it... I wasn't early!" Jade pouted as her brother dropped down from the tree and walked over, a sword in each hand. He gave Jade one of them.
"Yeah. But you weren't late either. Good job." He smiled.
Jade smiled back then looked at Mira. "This is my brother, Jasper."

Mira looked around, "Yeah but we might have out flown him." She sighed. "Oh well. I will deal with that later." She mumbled. She looked at Jasper then at Jade, "Your brother right?" She glanced back at Jasper. "I"m Mira."
Jasper smiled slightly and nodded once. "Nice to meet you."
"So, could I possibly put off my lessons?" Jade asked her brother.
Jasper shook his head. "I'm going into the human world in a few days to help find Mythicals and you need to learn at least some self defense. You've already put it off for a month."
Jade pouted and looked at Mira. "I don't understand why people use swords."

Mira shrugged and leaned against her dragon. "Neither do I." Mira was pretty bad when it came to self defense but she could fight if she needed to. "In a land of magic swords seemed weird to me. Learning to use one is good though I think." Mira smiled at Jade and sat on her dragon.
"Exactly! Well, to the 'we live in a magical world' thing. If I need to defend myself I could just zap them with lightning." Jade shrugged. "Or catch them on fire or drown them or I could knock the wind out of them long enough for me to escape or tie them up."
Jasper sighed. "But what if you're fighting another weather being?"
"Then a sword isn't going to help me."
Jasper sighed. "But what if you're fighting another weather being?"
"Then a sword isn't going to help me."
Mira laughed a little. "Not all swords are useless though. There is a special one I think." Mira said with a small nod. But that was only one sword. Daggers seemed more useful to Mira than a sword.
"Well you could poison your sword." Mira offered. She smiled a little and leaned against her dragon. "Anywho i'll leave you to it."
Mira rolled around a little on the floor and wrapped her wings around herseld to try and sheild off Simon's magic
